Advice On Landing Pages

I wanted to ask how are you guys currently building landing pages, as they are a fundamental step on several methods I think that I should have at least a half-decent looking landing page to direct people to offers or for whatever I use them.

I'm currently learning how to code, but I'm far from being able to build GOOD landing pages, All I can do are regular to badly designed pages of which I don't feel that are great enough.

There is the option of buying a monthly membership for a landing page builder like LeadPages or Unbounce but those are expensive, and I'm just starting out.

So... I wonder if somebody has advice on how to build them while I get really good at coding or the only thing I can do is to wait until I can make them myself?

Props on learning how to code!

Until you have a good grasp on HTML, CSS and either JS or PHP (for form verification) I suggest either downloading an HTML template for landing pages or using WP.

You are right about the former, but the latter would be a good first stepping stone just to test the waters, IMHO. Do not obliviously jump in the unknown - give it a try first and foremost and see if you like what you have chosen.
