Well with good seller I left good review , with bad one I just avoid and never come back . Why ? They have my site url and what if they just send as many as crap links and BS as possible to it just because they didn't like my honesty ? Sorry if it's wrong , just didn't think any right way to do it . Despite that fact , I found a lot of gems here .

There are always 2 sides of the coin....
If the seller is being unresponsive to obligations they need to fulfill or not giving you what is advertised, then you should leave a negative review. That review will most likely cost them much more than what they made off you. In most cases, the seller will correct their mistake so that you will leave them a positive review.
Admins are VERY adament about keeping the marketplace fair. All you have to do is click on the Report button if there is an issue. They are quick to look into things.
With that being said....
There are also A LOT of buyers that expect and demand a lot more than what is promised from the service like personal tutoring which goes far beyond what most sellers offer. I see this all the time. If your overstepping your limits, then don't expect anyone to give a damn and stop acting like a spoiled child.

I can't see any way that "buyer beware" won't always apply to a forum such as this.
In my opinion, it is up to the sellers to provide trust, not BHW.
There are a number of ways to do this:
Giving out review copies isn't particularly useful to buyers. The reviewer is under pressure to give at least a reasonable review in return for a free service, and any critical reviewer is unlikely to be offered a review copy again. Sellers most likely give review copies to friends and members who will give very positive reviews - not people who are experienced to judge the service thoroughly and who have the reputation on the forum to be able to be very honest about a poor service.
The mods themselves are in a difficult position to review. Services often take time to pan out, and BHW (as a business) probably needs the marketplace to fund it. Buyers need to read between the lines of mod comments. "Approved" doesn't mean the same as "Approved. This is a great service that will rocket your rankings."

- reduce spelling mistakes and errors in sales threads
- provide proof in the form of reviews from respected members (not just mods) that show evidence of success
- provide the ability to test the service before buying a larger value
- demonstrate knowledge of how the service should be provided through the forum before selling it (i.e. open a thread on how to make a PBN as safe as possible before offering a "safe" PBN service)

I agree with you, those are good points. I see how such a drastic change would effect the community as a whole.

I think we're using the same service. May 14 I ordered, still haven't received 1 completed site yet. I agree with your suggestion of there being a quality check periodically performed, if not by the admins, then by VIP's or trusted members etc. under a different name or something. While disappointing, it hasn't corroded my view of BHW itself, but I definitely wouldn't be using the seller again once it's all done (if it's ever done, I'm so over it).

Yes, the reason we've got another full-time staff member and an intern is so that we can provide more support for the marketplace. We take service quality very seriously (low-quality, cheap services still have their place as long as they're described accurately) and will continue to increase the strictness of the marketplace rules.

There is always this section to use if you are not getting what you paid for. Although it is a distasteful process to go through it does work in many situations and oftentimes the issues get resolved before they go live as the Mods will try and get the sellers to make things right before things go public.
Damien, the Admins and the Mods all want the buyers and sellers to have a pleasant experience when it comes to Marketplace purchases, as well as the other parts of BHW, and f there is something that is improper hit that report button, use the SL, or just reach out to a Mod.

If we think about same guy I have posted thread against him in Shitlist forum and waiting for approval. Sad to see no moral people like him are ruining this place in eyes of its users.
"You must attempt all reasonable forms of resolution before posting a thread in this section. This includes diligently exhausting all forms of contact, waiting for 72 hours at a minimum, and informing the other party of your intention to shitlist them."
When it comes to Shitlist forum and this particular rule, my opinion is that if you inform seller about your intentions he'll of course give his best to fix it, and it's nothing but giving him endless opportunities, which won't improve his service in the end. Rigorous action should be issued with no asking, if needed proofs are provided by buyer's side. If for example TAT or any other requirement is not provided by seller, buyer should have option to refund with no further negotiations.

That would actually solve your problem with that seller and, believe it or not, that does affect the mindset of the seller when he gets a couple of those notices and makes some adjustments.
Couple that with what is being done as an overhaul of the marketplace by a bunch of different people and things are getting tighter but as a buyer it helps everyone, especially yourself, if you inform the seller that you are about to SL him/her if they do not resolve the issue per their stated offering.
I still think punishment of one would make others think twice, which in the end would lead to quality on consistent basis. Time will show...

This sounds good. The seller I'm talking about had a high satisfaction rating and a lot of good social signals, which is really all we can go off until we're actually transacting. The problems with the seller and when others started saying their orders were held up by 6 months or so, only really started to be uncovered recently. I had a similar service by a different seller with all the same social signals/proofing etc. and the service was completely fantastic, TAT was something like 2 or 3 days, I didn't have to do much, it just all came together very quickly. This seller I'm dealing with at the moment is like pulling teeth. "Will get back to you in 24 hours" was the last communication they sent me, 3 days ago... and all the communication etc. has been like that. I PayPal disputed last month, but then they said they were committed to the order etc. so I gave them a chance.. but ugh. It's annoying me even typing about it. I've been very patient with this person, but patience has its limits. I'm just hoping the S/L entry doesn't make them turn tail and run away, since according to their thread they still have 10+ orders in the pipeline.
