The Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit Tuesday in federal court in Salt Lake City and asked for a temporary restraining order against a company called Traffic Monsoon and owner Charles David Scoville, 36, of Murray. U.S. District Judge Jill Parrish granted the restraining order Tuesday evening, freezing the assets of Scoville and Traffic Monsoon, which is sitting on about $60 million in cash in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Regulators seek appointment of a receiver to find and protect the assets of Scoville and the company.

I'm part of a FB group full of people who are in and actively promote Traffic Monsoon.
I need to go check and see how they're reacting to this.
Normally when this happens, people don't learn their lesson. They just move on to the next website exactly like that one. It's a vicious circle.

Despite it is 2016 and 2,087,133 Ponzi's later, there will always be gullible people. Others smell a Ponzi from miles ahead.
There was/is a thread in which Tribbles because the subject dejure. The title "Tribbles with Traffic Monsoon" was word play on that and the word "Troubles." However, it also fits the subject. Tribbles replicated like rabbits on methamphetamine. Likewise Traffic Monsoon replicated with insane speed. The difference being that the founder of Traffic Monsoon is now wanted and, at minimum, $21 million richer.
Also like the Trek shortie, the Tribbles were gotten rid of. In "Trouble for Tribbles" by transporting them to the engine room of a Klingon star ship. In "Tribbles for Traffic Monsoon" by the US Federal Government filing a lawsuit and seizing the assets of Traffic Monsoon.
The take away is that "Trouble for Traffic Monsoon" made the fatal mistake of operating a website, even for a short time, anywhere in the jurisdiction of the United States. This was also the downfall of Megaupload. Take the warning.
