Hi there,

Im a freelancer web designer and web developer. I started working on upwork and fiverr 1 year ago, getting orders from both platforms every now and then and doing enough to have a comfortable living and enjoy my life. Not too much expenses these and saving a little money for Masters degree in
WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) Vienna, Austria starting this year in October.

Enough about me, back to my journey i dont have that much knowledge or you can say im still learning about blogging how everything goes on. I will be doing this journey as well as learning from great people over here how to do and improve my blog. I have 300$ for the startup which i mostly use for content creation. So here it goes.

Day 1 :

Bought domain name from godaddy and hosting for a year costed me around $40.

Next Step :

I will be installing wordpress and an a premium theme which i bought it earlier for same purpose. After i finish with this i will be moving towards Keywords for my blog with low competition and last will be content creation.

I will need your assistance as in project as im fairly new in this and doing this for the very first time. Please leave your valueable suggestions in the comments.

The first thing you have to do before having a blog is targeting your niche. What kind of topic you wanna share with your audience?
Then, having the niche in mind, now is the right time to buy domain and hosting - Domain that might sound useful/ beautiful to your targeted audience.

Do learn about backlinking too coz that is one of the main strategy to rank in Google.

Post it on a lot of streaming sites like youtube, create social media platforms for your blog. Facebook, instragram, twitter, tumblr, everything. Use googles platforms as much as possible, as it helps in ranking a lot better. Some good old keyword research, seo, and social posting will get you far. As long as you have good content. Which I always have a struggle with :/

Learning about on page seo and backlinking. I will not be worried about backlinking at this point as im taking this as whitehat as possible.

Like i said i wouldnt be thinking about links at this point of time as i will try to keep my niche whitehat. I will try to get alot of content for my website and try to target alot of less competitive keywords to start with and try to rank with those. I will also targeting SMM but not on very high level just Tumblr and twitter.

Update 2 :

With my niche decide, domain and hosting done my next plan of action will be content and alot of content. Im still looking for a content writer that can atleast write 2000 words for my niche everyday. Im making progress in that regard that i have short listed some from upwork and i will try to decide on him in next few days. Next week i will be making social media profiles.
