How to build link effectively 2016 - Pls Help!

Guys i am new to SEO. Yes i have read a lot about seo white, grey & black hat but always run away from seo. But after 4 long years of running away from seo i realized it is essential to know seo especially as an IM. So guys i have made a website(total 4 articles, one 300 words and three 500 words) and kind of completed on-page seo. Now can you please tell me how to build link manually that works in 2016. Yes i know there are lot of info on BHW and out there but sometimes too much info can be devastating. The keywords i target are quite weak. I see few sites rank on 1st page with few backlinks. Or if you can recommend any good service on BST thread also ok. Again there are too many seo and backlink sellers on BHW so its very confusing which service to go for. And also i am very tight on budget. So guys i humbly request please help.

go on to Fiverr.com. Look for gig that offers ahrefs reports. these are backlink reports. get a report for a couple of your competitors. you will get spreadsheet of ALL the links that ahrefs knows about for their sites.
Go through that list, visit each site and see if you can get a backlink on there yourself, if you can't, look in BHW marketplace and see if you can buy a similar backlink.

That is a good start.

I would up your word count first and make sure it contains words and phrases relative to its topic. Also, add some internal and external links to relevant content.

After this, you want to find pages that are completely relevant and niche related to what your topic is about where you can leave a comment. Manually build some comments from these pages and mix up your anchor text ratio.

Additionally, you can follow this guide and really give your rankings a boost if you do it right.

If your competitors rank with few back links, you could also rank your site on Page 1.

Make a competitor analysis as Davids355 said and try to build same kind of links. You can also build high quality authority back links using guest post technique. Guest posting is one of the best technique to get manual back link.
