Monetising garbage content

I have access to a very large amount of non-human-readable content in a wide range of niches. Big G has no problem indexing and ranking this content - apparently it's "good enough" for their algorithms and they can't effectively decide that it's pretty much useless for any human reader.

How should I go about monetising a website with this kind of content? I can't just put up some Adsense ads or Amazon affiliate links because, presumably, I will be violating their TOS.

In other words, I can get high quality search engine traffic, but I don't know what to do with that traffic. I can't expect to convert them using my content or even make them stay on the page for long.

What are some other options?

So far I could only think of cloaking and redirecting the visitors somewhere else, but I have no experience with that. Where would I redirect to? What's the best way to implement cloaking?

Other monetisation ideas?

Thanks!

Collect emails and build a niche, or several, targeted list(s).

That is probably your best alternative to a long term revenue stream with that sort of thing as you are not far off saying that adsense/amazon and some others would ban you should they catch you.

Thanks, I didn't think of that one. So how would that work? I should show an overlay popup with an optin form as soon as the visitor enters the page, before they have a chance to judge the quality of the content?

Any other ideas?

I'd have an immediate pop up because if they see the content they are going to wonder which clown academy you went to in order to get your degree. I usually wait 3 - 5 seconds with a pop up but in this instance I'd be immediate.

A decent sized on or even a large overlay to hide as much as possible.

Just scap the crap why google updates get rid of shit

Sorry un human readable contant needs to be bined.

Crap bin it

In todays world getting spun content hard to get googled .

Getting un human is defently shit spam.

Overlays can work great from my experience, if you don't want to collect emails, try some offer fitting the content, no matter if CPA or affiliate, agressive call to action.

Adsense and Amazon are kinda special when it comes to their TOS, most affiliate program or CPA networks don't have a problem with bogus content as long as the quality of you traffic is fine.

Yep, makes sense, thanks. Do you think the popup should be hidden from Googlebot (i.e. cloaking) or just shown always? I'm wondering if a website that constantly shows an instant overlay popup would get some sort of a ranking penalty?

That would be a good solution. Can you name any affiliate or CPA networks that have a more relaxed attitude towards methods of promotion?

Okay right, but this is the blackhat section of a blackhat forum after all...

That should not be a problem; I have sites that rank that have an immediate pop up that shows before you can actually enter the site. I don't have a total overlay though, just a normal pop up but if you look at
Code:
forbes.com
I'm pretty sure an overlay showsd before you can enter the site.

Thank you, BTB, I may try an instant popup in that case.

Otherwise, can anyone recommend any affiliate or CPA networks that are lenient in terms of content that is used to promote the offers, i.e. will not ban me for sending traffic from obviously garbage articles?
