Passive Income through Youtube

nice to see a YT journey. Good Luck, don't listen to what people are saying regarding the channel longevity. You are safe as long you don'T break community guidelines.

Here is a little encouragement from 2 of my accounts. Keep at it

Hi pro... You can just tell me recive view and how to seo my video ? My video not view!!! So sad

There is something that doesn't make sense about the second screenshot by the way, how come that you had the max pike of subscribers at the meginning of your channel when views were low? Did u purchase them?

Promoted the channel on another bigger channel within the same niche. I use to manage a channel from a JV that used to bring 3-4x the amount of the second screenshot. So after 6 months of growing that account from scratch, I opened a new account to bring that traffic over to my own channel and keep 100%. (I use to get 15% of the other channel when i use to do 100% of the work, not a fair deal.)

What are your channels about? Are they similar to what op is doing or you went in the game with a different strategy?

@darksideday

Do you know whether this approach could work with football (or soccer, depending on which term you prefer haha) videos? Because, from my experience of an avid follower of random youtube football channels, i've seen em coming and going - being put down, in other words - constantly.

So that i still can't see how you have been able to get away with simple content reuploads. I'm kinda incredulous haha

So can you lot Exsplain this.

Do you turn on adsence within youtube to get paid.

If ban do you still get paid what you just got ban for?

Does youtube just pay you because user had to watch a advert before seeing the proper info.

How the money work , i no you got to add your adsence account to youtube , but does the
Adsence account get flagged as you grt ban, or do u use mutipule accounts for adsence and payoneer added to get paid on mutipule accounts for safty

Someone please reply?

Anythink to do with football is a instant ban it the hardest niche ever.....

When it comes to any big teams in any niche there a internet team awaiting to ban your crap
Trust me there so hot you dont even get to play the vid it ban lol try it at your own risk

The only way i found legal but crap sometimes work is commentating a team game but using youtube live and dragon with microphone and headphone , all you doing is write on a screen commenting what you see on the tv there and then live.

i am not sure if this will work in the long term. sooner or later your channel will be shut down because of copyright issue i guess.

i tried the same with some gaming shows and my channel got shut down too.

I have to disagree with this completely, i have been running my channel for 3 years and not received any warnings on this account, I did receive a warning on my vine compilation channel though but appealed and won it because i let them know that i wasn't happy and then they emailed back apologizing.
PS i also deal with fighting events to and also the channel tons of views and in most cases is in the featured slot on youtube.

Why would it be shut down Sky/BBC and RT news all do revenue share/ let you share content they would be no reason to ban you unless you are broadcasting a tv series/movie.

As mentioned on page 3 as long as you follow the community guidelines you will NOT be banned.

The thing is that the community guidelines clearly state that one mustn't use copyrighted material without the owner's permission. So, there lies my doubt, how do you manage no to break it?

Is your channel composed of original videos you make yourself, screen-captured material or a blend of both?

It's ok, i understand where your coming from, lots of people are scared of uploading content which they don't fully own in case they get banned but as long as you don't over do it, piss the right holders off you will be alright.

You seem certain, can you show where they state they allow re-distribution of their content?

I can't see how they would, as you'd be impersonating them with the watermark (misleading) and using content they hold the copyright to (since they created it).

Im interested in this method, not trying to bring you down. You seem certain so it'd be great if you could show where it mentions that.

Also, what is "All Offer Rev/Share" what is that?

Month so far, looks like CPM will be quite a bit lower than last month but there's nothing you can really do to change that. Still hoping that I can hit the 4 figure mark this month.

Should hit 2000 subscribers sometime tomorrow.

Regarding longevity we should look at RobinHoodUKIP where his channel goes back one year and his old channel RobinHoodUK which goes back 2 years (had to open a new one due to monetization glitch at the time).

If you do it from news channels directly which some of my content is that its very unlikely that its going to be copyrighted. Mainly because that won't be featured on YouTube at all. Sometimes when there's set weekly programs on politics (such as BBC Question Time) than it depends as sometimes they upload a clip sometimes they don't. That's why I don't upload the whole program but i'll cut the parts up/section them. You'll get more views and also if there is a match than its just one video out of 4/5 than all 1/1. Then BBC for example will monetize that video, there's no reason for them to want to bring it down if they're going to make more money because of it.

Lastly, Politics/News is the only form of TV that you'll be able to put on YouTube due to the grey area of fair use. Fair use is permitted if there is an educational value and if there is a public interest which there clearly is. You can't really apply both of these to any other format of TV.

Good day DarksideDay,

I am starting a journey like this next week, and hope to post my progress here too,
But I would like to get these tips clear/better

  • Can you Pls tell us (we already know your channel deal with politics) what type of program in this category do you upload to get those views? Or rather which do you recommend?
  • Though you said most of your views are coming from suggested section of youtube, like how many percentage are suggested? and how many are organic?
  • So far so good, does it mean you have not personally shared you videos on any the social networks sites or forum? like Google plus, Reddit etc.
  • What exactly is the core secret of these views?

Pls share with us here.... thanks!

Good day DarksideDay,

I am starting a journey like this next week, and hope to post my progress here too,
But I would like to get these tips clear/better

1.Can you Pls tell us (we already know your channel deal with politics) what type of program in this category do you upload to get those views? Or rather which do you recommend?
2.

4.What exactly is the core secret of these views?

1. Well it depends where you are. If it's for the UK then use a number of sources. BBC News, Sky News, RT, Channel 4 News, maybe some US channels like CNN. These are the News channels in which I would gather the news of the day such as today being Theresa May becoming the next Prime Minister. Also I would have a number of daily/weekly programs I would upload (not in one video but split up). Such as BBC Question Time, maybe Panorama, maybe Sky New Murnaghan program every Sunday. BBC and Sky News are the easiest to use as you're able to view and rewind their channels online (iPlayer and Sky News YouTube live stream). Also another niche in politics you could easily do is USA politics. I would do the same as above but go through the usual news channels such as: FOX, MSNBC, CNN etc.

2. Probably easier if there's a screenshot... with no paid subs or views

3. I have not done any social media sharing or forum advertising yet. Although may do it in the future. Still split whether to do it as embedded videos don't have any ad's. Potentially use DailyMotion on Facebook page as you can put ads on embedded video from them. On twitter etc could use the same or use a link shortener just to get a click on to YouTube.

4. Consistency, I posted my weekly views before. Just keep on posting up the video's and eventually you'll get put on to the 'Politics - Topic' YouTube page. I have a number of videos in the UK section on the front page which no doubts helps to establish yourself. That has 250k subscribers so it helps to get to a bigger audience quickly.

Edit: Just looked at embedded videos monetization, you can do it for YouTube so definitely will set up social media accounts soon.

Thanks a lot for your reply and time so far...
I got it very clear now, But since I am not based in the UK or the US, how do I follow up with what's happening in US and UK.
I know I can use YouTube to stream life tv and like you said some could be rewind,

Are there means to follow these live tv without being on TV 24/7?

Pls just share your suggestion on how you are currently following up Thanks!

If you wanted to go on BBC iPlayer you could use a proxy to get on to it.
I'm to busy to watch TV 24/7, I just have notifications on my phone on breaking News so that I know if there's News I need to upload with in the day. I have 'The Guardian' mobile app to send me phone notifications but there's definitely other ones to use (The AP, BBC News, RT etc). You have to remember most News channels is about 5 news stories is on loop.

If you do UK news definitely invest in a cheap proxy to get BBC iPlayer, lots of content and shows. It may ask if you have a TV license for Live tv but just say you do, its just a reminder.

Thanks a Million man, U r the best.... I love your well detailed feed back, I really have to give this a shot.

But I plan on using Canadian or Us not UK, since u r already doing for UK.
What do u advice?

I don't know much about Canadian politics but US politics should be good to do with upcoming President election in November so interest in your channel should peak around then. What I would do is look at MSNBC, FOX News (only for some stuff as FOX is trash), USA Today, Huffington Post (USA Version).

Try to establish some weekly/daily shows that come on and upload them. Also as I have done is to screen capture the video seen on the website/TV as its unlikely its going to be on YouTube. You could just download video's of Fox News youtube channel for example than re-upload it but its going to be quite difficult to break through as they'll have put up the News late and there won't be that much interest.

So focus around Presidential election coming up. I think the News today was that Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary Clinton, you could upload a speech as one video and another one of a reaction of a news pundit for example. Also I think George Bush did a speech today for Dallas police officers..

You'll have to test around if any of the News shows actually go after Copyright on YouTube, you'll know this with in a couple of hours of uploading. You'll figure out quite quickly. Also sometimes on they won't let you monetize tragedies and murders for some reason so that can sometimes be an issue. But you can get around it by not putting in title or tags, just name it 'Town Incident' or 'Police Incident in ....'. That doesn't happen all the time though if it does just delete it and re-upload slightly differently.

As we build up to the elections in November they'll be more content, debates between both of the candidates etc. Then election night its self. As i've said before, for debates uploading quickly is the key as they don't come round that often and always put it into parts in case it gets copyrighted.

Look for the current news then find the videos to go with them. Be consistent with video uploading and its like a snowball effect with YouTube then you keep growing quicker and quicker.
