How to post my links in other groups?

I have a page I'm trying to create some buzz around and earning some likes.

I would like to post links to my articles on my website on other Facebook group pages, however when I do it, it's just a link with no image or headline from my article.

How do I make it so there's the headline and image from my article? or is there no way of doing this.

Thanks ... it looks like what I want it to look like when I run it through that. But if I just post my link on a group page in the comments of one of their posts, nothing happens... it just stays as a link.

It really should not - typically I add the link there first, fix any errors and then post and it is fine.

Try posting the link now and see what you get - even just post on our own timeline is fine.

Tried posting and nothing comes up.

If I do it on my timeline it works, but that's not what I'm aiming for.

That is a tad unusual as it normally would show up on your timeline and the same in all groups.

If you want to PM me the link I'll see what it does in one of the groups I admin for you.

I'd like to know what BassTrackerBoats will find out when he gets the link.

Well BTB said it worked for him... Not working for me for some reason.

FTN, post in that group and see if it goes live for you there.

So it's most probably a Facebook bug that affects a small portion of the users that you happen to be a part of, it happens all the time. Just give it a day or two and things should be back to normal. Share if they don't.

I tried posting it with my personal page and my fan page it's designed to promote. Neither worked. Unfortunately I have no other accounts

I just assumed that everyone had hundreds of accounts - my bad there.

Tested on 2 different accts. One with a lot of activity and history, and one that is light as to history and activity.

Worked fine for the "stronger" account and the other gave me just the link itself and no preview.

Sounds like an account issue more than a link issue after that.

Great. Even if I post it with my personal account that's several years old it won't show up. Weird.
