Keyword Problem! How to choose a best low competition keyword?

I am a new webmaster and it is very difficult to find a best low Competition keyword as which ever low comp keyword i find the top ten results comes from authority sites. should i compete with them? my website is new and google has not yet updated it's Domain authority.

I researched heavily upon low competition and high search volume keywords for my website niche category but every time the problem which occurs again and again is top results which contain high DA sites ranging from 50 to 87 max. Should i compete or not with them?

To find the competitive level Use Semrush to know the keyword difficulty.
The ultimate goal of any keyword research is to find the most relevant search terms that will drive to your website, as much traffic consisting of your target.
Create an initial keyword list with search terms related to your niche.And then choose the keyword that has low competition that brings you more traffic.

It's not the DA you should worry about. But it's the backlinks / ref domains that point to the particular page and also the onpage.

There are always gonna be high authority domains in the top, even when there is no competition, because they land there on default.

Obviously DA is a metric to use as an indication, to be really sure about the strength of the pages/domains you need to look at the backlink profile and make a judgement if you can compete or not.

If they have weak page authority and few/weak backlinks, then they are no match. Don't get scared away by high DA, it is just one piece of the delicate SEO dish.
