Anybody quit Facebook here?

I havn't joined yet (as myself anyway)...am I too late now?

best thing I done was to delete my personal fb account. it's so all about big egos and making out to be someone you arn't for most people.

Of course I still have many fake accounts, pages, groups etc that I use daily :)

I have essentially quit FB, but its more on "hiatus", I cleaned it up heavily and don't like anything political or sports related. I'm probably going to start using mine more in a few months along with linkedin.

I am very rarely on it, especially during political seasons.

I find FB frustrating and stupid. The idea of it makes me want to break my foot off in Zuckerburg's ass.

I rarely use my FB account. I have one friend and I stopped participating in my groups. So yeah, I guess I quit. But it's still there in case I want to use it to make money later on.

looks like a trading chart but does the trading rule applies ? What goes up must come down?

There was a precedent... this is almost exactly how MySpace's chart looked like back in the June 2009. They employed 1500+ employees back then, and still wasn't aware that this is the end. Only a year after they were officially dead.

Thinking of quit FB. There are more problems raised due to Fake accounts.
Fb wants to clean those accounts for the social reasons.
Making morphing some ones profile pic and killing their life.
Most of them are suicide due to the morphing.
These reasons are making me to think why should i use FB.

Got this notification last week:

I still use Facebook pretty regularly. I have my own set of rules I use to keep things neat and clean:
  • Don't post frivolous shit. Only post when something that matters happens.
  • Don't post images of your day to day life. Nobody cares. Only upload images that are important milestones or events.
  • Don't share anything. Don't post political bullshit. Don't get into internet arguments. Don't play Facebook games.
  • Hide those who do nothing but the above from your news feed.
  • Don't add people you don't know in person. Family, coworkers, old friends. That's it.

Never use Facebook at all. Total intrusion of privacy and waste of time. Even youngster in USA are moving away from Facebook and switching to instagram as most users are their elderly counterpart.

When I saw all my friends posting fake photos and fake relationships to portray a life better than what they had, I let Facebook go. There's really nothing to see to be honest. That was in 2012.
