zennoposter vs ubot

Zennoblaster - The compiler wasn't down at that moment. One of the things I mentioned was that our hardcore users sometimes compile multiple times in a very short period, which can result in an error. When we look at our compiler logs, a few of our customers literally compile over a hundred times a week. It could just be that two people hit "compile" at the exact same time. Others in the Skype group can confirm for me if they'd like, but we are confident no one else had an issue then.

@to answer the initial question "zennoposter vs ubot" ... you can't compare them.

  • UBot Studio is as close as it gets to a complete automation IDE
  • Zenno is close to "yet another automation alternative"
  • You CAN do anything Zenno does inside UBot Studio
  • You CANNOT do in Zenno everything what Ubot Studio does

PRO's to Ubot Studio
  • besides the above comparison, the biggest PRO of UbotStudio is the community around it

CON's Ubot Studio
  • is not quite actively supported and developed, the last update was months ago
  • you don't see them unless something goes terribly wrong or someone like @Kepperbes starts pointing the problems outside the community (proof of concept above)
  • updates are rare and most of the times bring incomplete features carrying more bugs than fixes

Overall, if you must chose then i recommend Ubot Studio and be happy to join the community, its probably the best feature you can get

Kepperbes, ZennoBlaster, thanks for the feedback, guys!
I thought you have not used our program for a while but you're still with us. I am glad :)

I feel really sorry for uBot users.
I have been watching this for a long time - users complain about bugs, Seth promises to fix them, post pretentious speeches, says a lot of words about how everything will be fine and how everything will change soon.
People complain for years about the same bugs and nothing changes. Sometimes they lack patience and write about their problems on the forum.
Seth silently delete these posts and nothing changes :)
Friends, we need to understand that best time of uBot is long gone and spoiled reputation is not the only one reason for this.
The fact is that blackhat market itself markedly decreased, you know how Google is tightening the screws.
If Seth wasn't able to do something several years ago, nothing will seriously change in the future.

Development team of uBot is Seth only, who also do marketing and a bunch of other stuff.
In the best times of Ubot there was another developer - Eddie (If I'm not mistaken), he left Ubot (that was the time when they really worked) then there were some other developers.
About a year ago, maybe a little more I checked Ubot's bugtracker, there was another developer. No there's no one except Seth.
ZennoLab team at the same time contains 8 of highly skilled full-time developers :)
You can check how development of Ubot goes now:
http://tracker.ubotstudio.com/proje...tus_id&op[status_id]=c&f[]=&month=6&year=2016
You can check other months as well.
It is funny when almost half of closed bugs have "Not a bug" status.
You can check Ubot's change log:
http://tracker.ubotstudio.com/proje...✓&tracker_ids[]=1&tracker_ids[]=2&completed=1

And compare with ours :)
http://zennolab.com/wiki/en:changelog

Personally, Ubot's future is clear for me.

Couple of words about plug-ins in ZennoPoster.
Ubot market offer that kind of things because there's no time/resources for development of new features by Seth.
We don't have that kind of problems.
If we will create plug-ins market and one of the clients will create a good plugin which is really needed by other clients, we will have two options:
1) We will release the same functions in ZennoPoster and it will not be very good in relation to the plug-in developer.
2) We will not develop this function , and then it will not be good in relation to clients, who will need to buy something what they can get for free.
If you need some new features that you would like to see in our software - feel free to contact us, we will implement them pretty quick if they make sense.

Anyway, the information is out there, and people know which software they can trust.
These are my words Seth. I hope you do not think that by saying my words, you will find yourself on my place :)

ill add my 2c. I own both products

Zenno : very stable. features work as designed. multithreading is stable .
Support forum is hit and miss - Comes with the usual smugness which is on display in the comment above (we know best, you are an idiot if you dont agree)
Not a viable solution if you are looking to sell bots.
No 3rd party plugins
Good solution if you need something for your own automation tasks, and have a small budget. Wont give you aggravation due to bugs

Ubot : you cannot count on everything working as designed. you have to know and work around the bugs. takes some time to figure all this out
However the community is very helpful and once you know how to get around some well known pitfalls, its a great IDE
Due to plugin system there is a wide range of free and paid plugins. You can create your own plugins and dont have to wait for someone to introduce features
The best solution if looking to make bots and sell them

Never been zenno user so I cant say anything about it, except - I will never buy zenno.
Reason - While reading this thread I am left with bad impression about Zenno users/CEO? and their non-profiessional behaviour in this thread. I guess thats because they know uBot is better and are pissed (you mad?).
Flaming other software for having inperfections is not a proper way to advertise yours...

Here is some info for the non-ubotters:
1. There is way too much hype about ubot's servers being down. Thats bulshit. I am using ubot from 4+ years and yes, server has been down, but not that much times as described in this thread.
2. There is way too much hype about ubot not being stable. Every coding language is not stable when used by a newbie. I have some bots running 24/7. I have bots that handle hundreds of social media accounts. I have bots that use very heavy 3rd party user interface solutions. I don't have stability issues.
3. Someone mentioned that when getting more into ubot you will have to write code instead of using drag'n'drop. Thats completely false. I have huge bots and I do them only with drag'n'drop.
4. Making bots with ubot is FAST. My best day(as a freelancer) was 3 completed bots in 1 day averaging 90$ per hour.
5. Huge market. Browse some of the leading freelancing websites and you will see that there is great demand for bots. You can as well pump really quality applications and sell them in marketplaces or your website.
6. The community is very helpful and responsive. Also you can build some great connections and get business opportunities.
7. About the plugins. There are insane plugins that make ubot a beast and guess what - they are free. There are paid ones, but thats understandable. Good stuff costs money.
8. There are great discounts every now and then. I have received discounts as big as 50% off.

If you use either a lot you'll eventually hit their limitations at some point. I'd just learn c# or Java preemptively.

Ubot gives you the option to compile your bot to .exe. That's a big plus.

"You have to pay for each of your customers to use your templates, sending them through an exhaustive process of signing up on Zennolab (and then having Zennolab email your customers with marketing material)."

Exactly why I didn't purchase Zenno, the idea that the owner of Zenno should be profiting off of the things that I create is ridiculous, this makes the Zenno developer out to be the owners slave. Additionally it adds an extra fee that my customers would have to pay, no thanks.

Would like to own both, but due to this, it's a non-starter for me.

Peace,
Z

lol. Maybe you should be sorry for yourself. TBH i know i am sorry for your lack of professionalism. Every webmaster and administrator removes bitches, especially the harry ones. i know i do.
NO software is perfect and that is an issue only if you're blind or brain dead.

Friends, we need to understand that best time of uBot is long gone and spoiled reputation is not the only one reason for this.
The fact is that blackhat market itself markedly decreased, you know how Google is tightening the screws.

OK you seriously lost it here.
Either your home page is still Google.ru or "blackhat market itself markedly decreased" is from zenno point of view which makes more sense and i'll probably have to agree with you.

Development team of uBot is Seth only, who also do marketing and a bunch of other stuff.

...

You only have 8 people !?, if that's even true. Ubot Studio has an army of plugin developers and the community with probably the best brains in the automation industry.
The community offers lots of free plugins, tools and tutorials to help even a 5 year old to code pretty much anything.

Plugins: http://network.ubotstudio.com/forum/index.php/topic/13435-every-plugin-listed-here-selling-buying-look-no-further/
Tools: http://network.ubotstudio.com/forum/index.php/topic/13558-list-of-all-3rd-party-or-ubot-made-assisting-tools/

LOL. off course, why would you want to open support for third party tools and plugins to allow others to make money too when you can control everything and force everyone to go to you !?
As for the zennoBox, in a marketer's eye only proves that you want everyone to actually work for you http://zennolab.com/wiki/en:zennobox

Maybe you shouldn't try to compete with Seth, after all zenno is only a poster and could be build using Ubot Studio too, or like someone else around here also said, this only proves the zenno mentality that "you know best and every one else are idiots."

Kudos to you and to Seth for the great tools you guys built.

Very True

I'd like to enforce that Ubot is probably the best automation IDE there is on the market and if you want more i can only recommend Visual Studio and C# or Python.

+ PRO'S Ubot
  • python built-in Support
  • plugin api Support
  • compile to .exe
  • can make money
PS: you can't compare zenno poster with ubot studio! each tool is good and designed for online automation but when it comes to choosing which one you need, is all about taste.

If you only look for a cheaper and personal tool to help you automate online tasks and a little more, the zenno is a good choice.
If you look for a more complex solution to prototype your own software applications and help you make money then Ubo Studio is a must have.

Zenno should consider the Apple/Google/Microsoft model of business regarding apps that are built to run with the system, it only increases the number of people that are working with a common goal of making the software more usable. Neither Ubot or Zenno are sending me a check so I have no dog in the race, just a customer who would like to own both for their unique nuances.

Peace,
Z

What a beautiful words full of pathos. "Army of plugin developers" - how proud it sounds. Goosebumps :)
What lies behind these words, huge army of plug-ins maybe (it would be logical)?
Nope, there are only 29 plugins :)
http://network.ubotstudio.com/store/product-category/plugins/
And one of the most popular free plug-ins is the one WHICH CLOSES BOTS.
Seth is so incompetent that he still was not able to write code that properly exit his bots.
Poor users had to write this plugin :)
Maybe paid plug-ins are better?
One of the most popular plug-ins allows.. attention.. to work with the latest version of Recaptcha (noCaptcha)! Lol!
Guys, you were cheated! 47 bucks for something that simple that should be provided by Seth for all users for free. And fast. Cmon, this captcha is used on half of all Internet resources.
When it appeared first time one of our developers shared sample template on forum to send it to anticaptcha services.
And last fall this captcha was added to our CapMonster software which solves captchas automatically without anticaptcha services (ReCaptcha and many other complex ones)
At the moment our wiki has full C# example which can be used in ZennoPoster to send this captcha to CapMonster or anticaptcha services.

You can buy a plug-in for $ 47 for uBot, which sends this captcha to services and you have to pay for each one.
Or you can buy CapMonster Lite for $ 25, which will solve this captcha automatically (3*3 puzzles, audio or associations types)

And all plug-ins from this amazing list either already implemented in ZennoPoster, either simply doable as snippets.

When you will realize, guys, that in case of uBot - plug-ins is a minus rather than a plus?

About the plugins. There are insane plugins that make ubot a beast and guess what - they are free. There are paid ones, but thats understandable. Good stuff costs money.
In other words, you need to buy a bunch of uBot's plugins, or its basic functionality will be poor.
UBot's team of developers (Seth only) do not have time to develop all the necessary functions as official ones, so they left them to users and paid plugins.
ZennoPoster at the same time has all important functions that are needed by clients. If there's something they miss, that means that we're working on it.
If you need any special extensions that are not popular, ZennoPoster has snippets for their implementation.

Support forum is hit and miss - Comes with the usual smugness which is on display in the comment above (we know best, you are an idiot if you dont agree)
Hello sirrobin, I am very sensitive when it comes to customers support questions, you could show a few topics where our support answered you that way in your opinion.
I will talk to them about it. It is very important for me!

1. There is way too much hype about ubot's servers being down. Thats bulshit. I am using ubot from 4+ years and yes, server has been down, but not that much times as described in this thread.
In fact, you're just used to the inconveniences. Customers who use both programs have something to compare, that's why they are so outraged by these problems.
I hope you will ever realize that a good attitude to customers - is not beautiful words, which Seth likes to use, but rather attentiveness to details. Our customers do not know that kind of small problems. As well as dozens of others, to which you have become accustomed for last 4 years.

2. There is way too much hype about ubot not being stable. Every coding language is not stable when used by a newbie. I have some bots running 24/7. I have bots that handle hundreds of social media
accounts. I have bots that use very heavy 3rd party user interface solutions. I don't have stability issues.
You have nothing to compare with

3. Someone mentioned that when getting more into ubot you will have to write code instead of using drag'n'drop. Thats completely false. I have huge bots and I do them only with drag'n'drop.
I would really like to see it. Please show me. I hope this is not a lie, and you have something to show. In response, I'll show you some big bots made with ZennoPoster.

Создание роботов с UBot быстро. Мой лучший день (в качестве фрилансера) был 3 завершен ботами в 1 день в среднем 90 $ в час.
This does not mean anything.
User who used both programs, said that ZennoPoster required less time to create the same bot compared to Ubot
You have created 3, who knows, maybe you could create 5 during the same time by using our program. Imagine how much profit you might have missed in 4 years

Huge market. Browse some of the leading freelancing websites and you will see that there is great demand for bots. You can as well pump really quality applications and sell them in marketplaces or your website.
Provide links, please, you're not trying to mislead us? If everything is as you say, it will not be difficult to give us five references.

lol. Maybe you should be sorry for yourself. TBH i know i am sorry for your lack of professionalism. Every webmaster and administrator removes bitches, especially the harry ones. i know i do.
NO software is perfect and that is an issue only if you're blind or brain dead.
cvrl1337, I think both of us know how pathetic this excuse sounds.
There is no perfect software, but there's might be huge difference between different software.

Either your home page is still Google.ru or "blackhat market itself markedly decreased" is from zenno point of view which makes more sense and i'll probably have to agree with you.
You're a moderator at Ubot forum if I'm not mistaken, don't you notice that there a lack of new messages? Even I noticed this.
Do you think Seth fired the last programmer without a reason?

LOL. off course, why would you want to open support for third party tools and plugins to allow others to make money too when you can control everything and force everyone to go to you !?
You want me to add lot of bugs in my software and cut out half of the necessary functions in order to some of my clients be able to cash on this?
It's kinda impolite in relation to the majority of other clients.
If you want to make some cash, you will have to do something useful for the community.
You can sell personal training courses, participate in our referral program, sell snippets, sell templates.

As for the zennoBox, in a marketer's eye only proves that you want everyone to actually work for you http://zennolab.com/wiki/en:zennobox
You are the first time in your life see the commission for sale? AppleStore takes 30% from their developers.
But you can sell your own bots/templates/snippets after purchase of ZennoPoster Lite for $ 87, in case of uBot price will be $ 995.

PS: you can't compare zenno poster with ubot studio! each tool is good and designed for online automation but when it comes to choosing which one you need, is all about taste.
Seth loves to promote this idea.
In fact it is not true.
ZennoPoster is a result of 5-7 times more development time than uBot.
If we talk about qualification, our programmers can create software that recognizes Google Recaptcha and other most difficult captchas in the world of captchas (CapMonster2).

If you only look for a cheaper and personal tool to help you automate online tasks and a little more, the zenno is a good choice.
If you look for a more complex solution to prototype your own software applications and help you make money then Ubo Studio is a must have.
Once again - uBot is Paint, ZennoPoster is Photoshop.
Using first you can draw smiles and sell at the market, in the second, you can create masterpieces, but the sale will be possible only with small commission.

Friends, Seth uses you to cover his ass.
He sent you here as the most loyal Ubot users (or simply those who agreed)
Its bright army of paladins. To protect his desecrated honor.
Do not let him down!
Think of something more serious. I'm sure you can.
Maybe you have a plan!? Maybe you want me to die by laughing?
In this case you are on the right track :)

@nuaru you might not be realizing this, but you are coming across as a condescending douchebag who is making fun of users who actually own ubot and your product
Argue based on facts, dont get personal. Its not a good look

ZennoLab team at the same time contains 8 of highly skilled full-time developers :)

Really ? is there a link on your site where we can see who is in the team. Or is everyone anonymous just like you
Do you have a contact number on your site. Are you all based in Belize ?

I know there are some bad reviews on here about BotChief, but I went ahead and got it because I hadn't seen them before I bought it. They have come a ways and I've started to really like them. The price was appealing for me and was worth the test, I had some issues when I first got it, but they update every few weeks and usually fix issues that are brought to their attention quickly.

To be clear, I am not solely a Zennoposter user, I am both a Zennoposter user, *AND* a Ubot user. Not sure why you were left with a bad impression from my posts considering my review was honest, and spoke to the positive points about Ubot, as well as the negative points. If I were to list only the positives, and none of the negatives, that would be dishonest, and in that sense, my post wouldnt be a worthwhile review.

Here is some info for the non-ubotters:
1. There is way too much hype about ubot's servers being down. Thats bulshit. I am using ubot from 4+ years and yes, server has been down, but not that much times as described in this thread.

Its because of this statement I'm beginning to feel that your response was solicited. I sincerely hope it wasnt, but what you are referring to as "hype", isn't hype, its proof, and I have alot more proof than what i've posted in this thread so far as it pertains to the up/downtime that i've listed as a con. Those screenshots I posted were taken directly from Ubots very own Skype group, where Ubot users were complaining about the softwares downtime. Saying that it is "hype" or "bullshit" would be implying that all of the users in that chat are liars. Maybe you're implying the chat itself does not exist? I'm not sure, but the complaints in that chat room regarding the uptime of Ubot itself, as well as the support they've received regarding the uptime is indeed very real, and not "bullshit".

I would like to add to this post however that since uptime has become a matter of discussion (from this thread), Ubot has been up, and stable. This could be from the bad attention this thread was drawing, or it could be from Seth and his team genuinely trying to tackle an issue that caused its users to become disgruntled, either way, uptime has been stable, and I am happy for that.
