Twitter Anti-Automation Protections?

I'm in the process of making a Twitter bot and I need to figure out how Twitter detects automation. I recently created two accounts on tor then logged into them on a different proxy service. They were both immediately suspended. The accounts were both impersonating porn stars so it's possible it did some sort of image comparison to other accounts, it also may have detected that both accounts logged in from the same destinations both times or (most likely) that it was accessed from Germany and then Saudi Arabia.

Does anyone have information about how Twitter detects automation? I couldn't find anything on the forum or google (perhaps my googlefu is lacking). I'm thinking about making an extensive testing program to suss out all the ways Twitter can detect bots as well as specific rate limits for things like affiliate links and ads vs. text posts. The problem with this is that it requires multiple stable proxies and I don't have that. If anyone is interested in figuring this out with me I will post the source when I finish the test methods and someone can run it and post the results.

Twitter has an AI like system that helps them deal with issues of protection. That is why it was possible for the accounts you created to be easily suspended. The AI has the ability to read all the information on people's account and then make a decision based on the rules and regulations that have been set aside by the management. They also combine that with geolocation in regards to the IP address you are using.

I think so as well. Twitter has other anti-automation measures though so I'm wondering if anyone knows what they are.
