Literally a few pages ago meathead said that not enough people did 5a to post 5b. And making sites to sell affiliate amazon products is something that existed for many years and most likely will for the foreseeable future. People want to buy things, they'll look for help online and then buy it. There's no reason why that will change.Did this method die out? Haven't seen meathead update it in awhile.
I would like to share this idea, especially for those getting traffic but no conversion yet or not so much conversion. One thing people get wrong and right is that as long as there is traffic which is the right, then the amount of traffic should equal conversion.
While this might be true in some certain cases, it is never right cos your traffic has to be of high quality, which in this case should be people interested in your product or having one or more problems relating to your niche or chosen keyword, idea or persona. I feel bad as this is always changing my own perception of the method shared by Meathead, I'm not saying it's not working but I'm saying indirectly that there is something we are missing, those of us working with this method.
So, with that being said, you have to keep trying till you find what works for you or your niche. You have to find your own direction, this is a very viable method and the trust I have for OP and his shares, have made me put so much time on just site design, trying this method out and plan to start posting articles this weekend as it is the only free time I have.
One question though for OP and probably other like whitepassion and more that have become conversant with OP's Amazon method and Amazon itself, how viable is traffic, in terms of conversion? Cos I myself know it's not the amount of traffic but the amount of valid trust in the site and the persona behind it.
Also, how many article is too much for a day's post on a site and how relevant should one take traffic and or ranking? Reasons behind these questions, is that I try to write an article almost everyday before bed and plan on posting at weekends considering I have a 9 to 5 and I have also did some research in regards to how traffic stats to Amazon might be irrelevant cos one could get so much and if purchases are eventually made in 24hrs, commission would actually depend on what was bought, 10000 visits, 400 orders, items sold equals $600, commission might end up being $15. So, should one actually focus on ranking and let natural traffic come in hopes of sales or just stick to posting on forums.
That's your idea you wanted to share?
Must it always be a what to do post, I'm working on this myself with a twist. All I said in my post is, you, most especially have got to use your head and eyes to read and learn from other's people's post, traffic does not equal conversion, targeted traffic means you've got 30% or more possible conversion out of every 10 visits.
So if you getting traffic and no conversion, then your content or site optimization is shitty.
What kind of conversion rates are you seeing?
Quality traffic is definitely one of the keys to Amazon Associated and that's why this method is so efficient.
I'm sitting at around 12% CR now.
For everyone who keeps saying where is part B, google free traffic or search on BHW instead of posting where is part B LOL. If you just re-read what he wrote already, you would see he already wrote it damn near. Phase 5 aka "Teach you to drive traffic to the website". There are only 2 forms of traffic: Free and Paid. Forum marketing is free traffic. In his previous method, He brought up BuzzBundle aka paid resource.Literally a few pages ago meathead said that not enough people did 5a to post 5b. And making sites to sell affiliate amazon products is something that existed for many years and most likely will for the foreseeable future. People want to buy things, they'll look for help online and then buy it. There's no reason why that will change.
FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN FOLLOWING THIS METHOD.
I am trying to follow this method exactly. I'm confused about something. This method is not SEO dependent so we don't care about SEO, like we didn't care about SEO in phase 1 and 2. But then why do we start caring about it in phase 3 onwards? Doing some basic KW research, writing articles on those KWs, caring about Yoast SEO plugin etc. Why? I'm confused. Can someone explain this to me please?
Up to phase 5a, the method is not SEO dependant for generating traffic. However, this will become more important later on as the longer your website is up and running, it will rank organically in Google search results and having good on-page SEO will help to improve those rankings. In most website building strategies, it is a good practice to try and work on your basic on-page SEO skills such as paragraph structure, keyword densities, anchor text and linking, etc.
Keep in mind that this method is designed to show how Meathead's friend is building a website and generating income from it in an effort to later sell the website for a good profit. When selling websites to prospective buyers, they may be quite interested in how well the site is structured, how strong the backlinks are, and how well it ranks in search engine results (where good SEO strategies will help with these rankings).
Can I still go ahead with this method without keeping SEO in mind?
By following this method and making use of the forum posts to drive traffic to your website, this will definitely work for you and you should be making money. Make sure that you have well written content articles on your website as this will help to build trust with your readers and lead you to more conversions. You can always go back at a later time and improve organic traffic through proper SEO techniques.
I haven't used any content writers here on BHW so I am unable to make any recommendations. There are some threads in the marketplace with very reputable writers that you could probably research. Maybe someone else would like to comment on a couple here for those who may be in need of this service?I will be outsourcing the content creation part. Would you recommend any services here on BHW?
When I'm making an order, I am ordering a 'product review', correct?
Phase 5a should be free traffic and phase 5b should be paid traffic if you ask me. Whatever the actual phase 5b is, won't be a new unheard traffic source. This is a newbie guide after all so it has to be simple.
