I'm struggling with Facebook Ads

I'm getting no conversions. If I select all ad placements I get a cpc of 0.30 but all my traffic comes from the audience network, it's a good amount of traffic but I feel it is all shitty and none converts. If I put my ads on just the desktop feed the CPC is now $1.00 and I blow through my budget after 5-10 clicks in a day. I can't sell anything remotely consistent at that rate. So I don't know what to do, get a shit load of shitty clicks for cheap that don't convert or just quit. I'm not gonna spend $1 per click because I think that's ridiculous. I tried to make my ad more clickworthy but the relevance score is still shitty at a 3. I don't know what to do now, selling this eBook is a big bitch and it's already taken me a lot of effort and money to get to this point, fuck

Facebook is not the place to be for sales. most are browsing and facebook know this but charge you your bollocks for the privilege.

Yeah I can't do anything. Ads cost too much to be put on the desktop newsfeed and the clicks I got from the audience network don't convert. Like wtf lol I thought Facebook Ads would be a good way to make eBook sales, turns out I can't make a single sale, soooo does that mean it's time to quit and call this failure? Don't see how else I can effectively sell, and obviously don't want to keep wasting money on ads that don't convert, lame

FB is a rather expensive platform to advertise on if you are not well seasoned in marketing with PPC. I know there is at least one service in the marketplace that can help you with the CPC and there may be several.

If you are green there it may be worth your while to see if you can work with them to get the cost down.

I advertise there myself and am pretty happy with the results and the cost based on how I set things up but I know our verticals are significantly different and I'm not all that savvy so I could not offer anything more than "pay the guy".

I feel ya bro. Spend 200$ already without a sale... Don't get me wrong, this 200$ teach me a lot of things (in the beginning my CPC was 1.32$ , now it's $0.16-0.19) but no matter what advertise in my niche it doesn't convert. I've done a lot of split testing and I'm pretty happy with the CPC, but' I'm starting to think that really the niche is the problem. Also, on Post Engagement I can get engagements for $0.01-0.05 (americans ofc) but no matter how I tweak the ad, nobody clicks on my damn link! It kinda drives me nuts !

Well I've decided already to change my niche , so it's not a problem to share it with you. It's a cat niche (I target the cat ladies) and while they are really engaging on the posts, I don't find them converting at all (so don't waste your money on that, people)

Can't you change cpc to cpm? I haven't been on fb ads in awhile but I remember using that setting to get cheap clicks.

No, You don't get it. My audience is laser targeted. I don't have any problems with ad relevancy and CPC (my ads are within 7-10 relevance score!) The audience just don't convert!
