NOTE: Remove if not allowed. Apologies.

I'm thinking of applying for Jr. VIP when I'm eligible to, but my main reason to do so would be for access to the Jr. VIP forums.

So I have a question to the Jr. VIP's and up. Is it worth it? I'm not fishing or asking for specifics that I shouldn't know as a non Jr. VIP. I just want to know about how active the Jr. VIP forums are and how much higher quality the content is.

Is it a worthy investment on an intellectual level?

On an intellectual level, do you think you're the first one to ever ask this question on the forum or perhaps it is possible that there exist hundreds of similar threads that have the answer that you are looking for? :p

EDIT: I'm actually just appaling with the search bar. Found the threads by switching around the keywords.

Touché.

On an intellectual level, the Jr. VIP's are very descriptive about the Jr. VIP forums, but uhh...

It's not exactly marketing related information, as you can see. :)

In all seriousness I'll do a bit more digging, but I honestly can't find a whole lot of serious answers. Excuse my search engine skills :/

In truth... you will find value for $100 in there. However don't expect career changing stuff. It's really not that much better than the standard forum but there are some awesome threads hidden away.

If you love the forum and you want to support it, spend the money.

If you have $100 in total and the choice is Jnr VIP or build your skills by building some websites, I'd go with the websites.

I personally bought it as I felt guilty that I was wasting staff members time by trolling. The secret forum is good but it's not why I buy it...

Is it constantly updated, or more of a rarely-used archive that just sits there?

There is plenty of stuff on the regular forum. If you have managed to make $100 from the stuff on the normal boards then maybe have a think of upgrading. IMO though most Jr VIPs are clueless and only upgrade to get a BST to scam noobs.

Don't you think that'd be a hard scam to pull off? The mods aren't stupid, and I'm almost certain that they manually review Jr. VIP applications.

Aside from being a waste of time, don't you think it simply wouldn't be cost-efficient to write 100 organic posts and age an account 60 days to scam 1 person?

Why not browse the regular forum first? You'll learn a lot of stuff in there as well. If you really want to help BHW and have extra money, then upgrade to Jr. VIP. :)

You misunderstand what I mean. People come here, make lots of posts trying to learn the ropes, they fail and go Jr VIP. Then they start a BST thread promising noobs the world when really selling crap to them. So they start a few BST threads and scam noobs for a living....

Thats the best answer you can get right there. Not sure what else your looking for.

My wife and I go to a particular restaurant, even though it is pretty expensive, because we initially heard how good it was. In fact it is so good that it was hard to get a table as many others go there as well.

It seems that the restaurant's clientele are either members of a cult or appreciate quality and believe that spending 34.00 for Whole poached Maine lobster, truffled Hollandaise and black truffles is value for their money. The bill when we eat here is never under a hundred dollars and we go there at least once a month.

Now, Jr Vip is not that expensive compared to brunch at this restaurant but there seems to be thousands of people that are members there and some with annual renewals for years. That crowd of people must think there is either value or are members of a cult.

I don't get the feeling that Damien is some kind of cult leader that wears dark robes when he goes out in public so that leaves the cult thing out in my mind so I am assuming that those thousands, of which I am included, think there is value for their 97.00 USD a year.

So a popular linkcrawler decided to write about one of the better services provided by a well-loved member here.

How does that make him a scammer of noobs?

Your premise is flawed.

Firstly could you please confirm if you have every ranked a site?
Secondly could you confirm if you have ever used any services of the guy I referred to?

I disagree completely that he is one of the better service providers on BHW. Also I totally disagree that he is well loved. Although I can't prove it, the vast majority of the "orders" and "reviews" on his thread are by people with crazy low post counts and I beleive them to be shill accounts to keep his thread bumped. I understand that people with low post counts do come on here and make orders but I still call B/S on the vast majority of them in his thread.

If you have ever ranked a site then a quick chat with him on Skype will display his lack of SEO knowledge. There are also a number of threads right here on BHW calling him out.

A friend linked me to this video today......

Although its based on an ebook, it is exactly what I imagine he is doing but with his "service".
