Hey man, yes I think that IG are going to get on top of botting, and the interaction history of logging into your account, and what you do and how you do it when logged in is going to get monitored ever more closely. To that end, I want to keep my "genuine" interactions up as high as possible and the automated as low as possible, so my account is as "clean" as possible.
It is just a feeling, others may disagree, but seeing as I am only currently building one account, it serves me well, and at the end of the day the account will be a high quality account in IG's eyes, which I think is what they want.

Update:
Ran Mass Planner over night following at a very low rate, with sleep time of 50-75 mins after every 6-12 operations. let the account sit for an hour not being logged in, and then unfollowed some older accounts, all went well no temp ban...here are todays stats:
Followers: 456(+29)
Following: 902 (+138)
Likes today: 77
Comments today: 2

Had a small temp ban yesterday, I think I followed a few people as well as unfollowing, but it only lasted an hour, so no big deal. People have started to repost my pictures now, which is a good thing as I know I am on the right track.
Shortly I will be starting my next little development for my channel which is where I select a picture from my followers and feature it as picture of the week...the promotion has a nice title so, I will let you know how that goes down.

Its been a couple of days since the last update, and now BHW is back up again I can do another one. Ran MP overnight for a couple of nights unfollowing at a very conservative rate, with no issues. Posted a couple of outstanding photos which resulted in quite a few organic follows. Here are the stats since the last update..over 500 followers now which is my first milestone reached.

Following: 883 (-29)
Likes: 155

Technical Update:
I have been thinking about the traditional method of follow/unfollow IE follow large numbers of people, then unfollow...versus what I am doing which is totally different. I am keeping my account stats very respectable at all times, I never want to have my following number at over double my follower number.
This does mean the account growth is slow, as you can see from my updates, BUT the account looks so much better, and I am now averaging 100-150 likes a day and 4-10 comments a day by doing things this way with 513 followers and following 885.
I am of course tempted to go for faster growth, but I believe the approach I am taking, although way slower, is going to pay dividends in the future.
It is much easier to follow people using MP and not get temp bans than it is to unfollow, for unfollowing I only have it set to unfollow a max of 100 a day.
I will run an MP follow tonight, with slightly higher settings and a sleep time thrown in as well, new update coming tomorrow...

Thanks for commenting, well I thought an update a day every day would be good, I see a lot of journey threads where people only update once every 2 or 3 days, but there are some interesting things I could post on, so I will bear it in mind.

Thanks for commenting. dont worry I will. I built a soundcloud profile in a similar way, worked myself to pieces on engagement with the artists I was dealing with for 9 months, and now I have a quality account which is growing every single day without me having to do anything except promote good music, ill be starting a record label in the autumn off of the back of this...it just takes time, but it is well worth it!

Been unfollowing manually this morning, and managed to find a stunning photo with virtually no engagement whatsoever, so re jigged that and got loads of engagement from it.
My plan is to reduce my following number down to zero manually, and then literally let the photos and engagement build the profile. I know this will take a lot of time, but I know that once I am over 1000 followers things will move a bit quicker. The content I am posting is some of the best on IG for this niche, and as I dont mind about the time involved I know it will work...(I know it isn't that exciting for anyone watching the journey so far, but stick with it...it will get better!).

Hey Pavlo, thanks for commenting. No, I definitely do not know better in general, as I mentioned a few times, pushing hard gets the account grown quicker, this is true, but it will not have the engagement rate that an account of the same size will have that granted, has taken a hell of a lot longer to get to the same place, say 50k followers.I have tried posting more frequently, and the only time I do this is when unfollowing, to gain followers so the impact of unfollowing is less. It provides no benefit in my niche at all other than that, I don't get any more followers/engagement...the numbers are the same.
