So, BHW moved to a new platform and a new look.....
And you know what, at first glance I wasn't too sure. I mean, things had changed from the way I had been used to them. Features changed and moved. The look and appearance of things had changed.
But today something has either changed or just clicked and the verdict is that this place just got a fucking who load better than it was before.
From a regular user point of view the whole place just seems to flow much better than before. I dunno, things just seem better connected. There is a hum about the place that wasn't there before.
I know, I know, some will say that they prefer the old style and this new look is a step backwards. Well, actually, no it's not. Not at all. This is all a positive step in the right direction and everything changes over time. That time for BHW is now. It is here and it's gonna be this way.
It is easier to navigate around and there are some really fucking cool features that are easily accessible from a drop down menu when you place the cursor over your forum username in the top right hand side.
The alerts are better - you can view your content - follow BHW members who you want to keep up to date with and that creates your news feed.
I mean, come on, this is a much better BHW than it was before. In fact, shit, I don't even got nothing negative to say about any of it.
I am eager to see the market place updates completed as I heard that was being updated a few days after the rest of the forum had been updated.
Hats off to the BHW staff involved in all of this and congrats to the BHW mods who have been promoted to Admin roles. I can only imagine how much back office work that running a forum like BHW must take.
