This is what i will never understand. They're doing the camming for money on a public site, where everyone gets to see them freely. If we promote their room using a screenshot, they get more traffic and more money, no? I guess most models aren't familiar with how whitelabels work and they don't know that when we use their pics, actually that makes them money by taking the visitors to their rooms directly. It's not like we post their nudes on their facebook or something.
It's a win-win-win situation for the models, for Chaturbate and for the affiliates.
Actually it's a grey area. Chaturbate support couldn't give me a direct answer and told me to take off pictures if a DMCA notice was presented, but that I could use the others as i want. They provide numerous promotional content including an API that shows actual screenshots of the model room. This content is actually for promotional purpose but model seems to says it can't be used? To investigate deeper I guess.

You are always allowed to use the API. The difference between the screenshots of the API and your normal screenshots, is that the screenshots generated by the API go to a grey screen when the model go offline. The normal screenshots you take, will be forever on the internet and will be spread all over the internet. That's a big difference.

So am I right in thinking your wordpress site is now your money site instead of the tumblr?
I woke up to a ban from chaturbate this morning, something about a copyright issue. Very vague, we will see if I get any further explanation. I have been doing this method and some media buying. Screenshot > Tumblr > Twitter > Sex.com > Reddit etc.
I was just starting to make some money, so just a word of caution. Might have been something specific to what I did but I believe this method is in the gray area after all.

That sucks ass, right before payday.
It's a grey area for sure if not fully black, because taking screenshots and sharing those is clearly against CB's TOS, plus quite a few models have DMCA notices plastered all over their streams. But i'm pretty sure, that CB doesn't check this pro-actively, only if you're getting reported.
Were you promoting specific rooms, were you sending the traffic to the registration page or somewhere else? I still can't wrap my head around that, why would any model report you, when you bring visitors to their room directly, unless the reason of your ban is something else, but i can't really think of anything else, which is related to copyright.
The thing is that the legit, TOS-abiding way, the API cannot be used to promote the rooms on social media, technically not possible.
I can think of one solution to use the screenshots more safely: make the models unrecognizeable either with blurring their faces (and other specific features) or make the screenshots when they don't show their faces. I'm not sure how well that would work, because "No face, no fap." lol
Maybe there's another option: when you have your target girl on CB, head over to MFC or any other cam site and find a similar girl, make the screenshot on MFC (make sure that said girl doesn't have a CB profile) and share that pic, like if it was the screenshot of the CB girl. Sure, it's not the same girl, but i think it won't really throw the visitors off, when they're already on the site and CB can't ban you because of copyright violation.
Or
Talk to the girl (with no DMCA notices) and ask if it's ok, if you make and use a screenshot and drive traffic directly to her room, maybe this is the easiest.

I did promote a specific model with my white label (whitelabel.com/reportingcunt) with a picture attached.
I just got a "clarifying" email that I got banned for "an unusual amount of reports" they also threw in the domain for my whitelabel as reason which is a wordplay on a famous pornsite.
I have been fine for almost six months doing this but I just started a new white label in a very profitable niche, but the downside is the girls have almost a cult following. Which is probably the reason for the excessive reporting, maybe some girl told them to do it. I don't know.
I'm not really angry at CB I clearly(some what) broke the ToS but these girls...I have seen some dodgey shit like they bait the guys to click links on there profile which adds there affiliate cookie whipping out any "real" affiliates cookie. But they are the talent I guess.
Good thing I used white labels at least so I can reroute the traffic and hopefully recoup some of the loses. Nothing converts as good as chaturbate though, at least not from the testing I have done before.

I'm quite certain there is a specific individual that caused my ban, she has been messaging me on tumblr and she has a HUGE following. She even threatened to report my new white label on another provider, fortunatly the new provider is waay more helpful and basically told me they will ingore it.
I have been struggling to find an alternative to chaturbate I have to admit, the thing about CB is that it's quite unique in the cam space, alot of small factors contributing to them having the highest average spends out of all the cam providers. I have found a pretty unknown provider that seems to be working though, my sign ups are through the roof. I don't know if it's my regulars from the old white label that is causing the spikes or something else. I guess i'll know in a few weeks.

Now you made me curious. Can you pm me the username of the model, so i can see, if i promote her or no? There's a big chance, because i promote hundreds of models.
Also, maybe your conversions are through the roof, because you just started with the network. According to my experience, when you start with a new network or with the same network but with an offer from a different advertiser, the first few days are always better in terms of conversions, then later the conversion rate gets adjusted and most of the times it stabilizes at a lower level, but i guess you'll see it soon.
