1. You could have emailed or PM'd me if you were not happy, I've helped a lot of people out. Reviews reflect my customer support.
2. You're using Google.de/.fr to judge competition on a USA keyword.
3. The competition metrics for popular keyword tools were published before you bought it.

You're welcome to leave a review, of course. That's your right as a buyer... but seriously if you had a problem rather than blow $199 or whatever you paid you could have just asked for a 2nd opinion or I could have sorted your issue without a problem. Seeing as you have blown this out of proportion and made the KW public I really cannot do much.

1. I was just curious to see what I would get - was on holiday and felt like a small side hustle so bought the keyword one evening. Your sales thread/pitch is amazing and did really strike a chord with me and made me spit out my tea (I'm serious :P). You seem like the kind of guy i could drink a beer with. Then I realised it was wasnt as low comp as it should be and just thought fuckit, lost all interest in having a MNS and posted the review.
2. pretty sure it was google.com
3. still full local above the fold + some huge other authority sites, no way you're gonna easily snipe that.

I understand shit slips through the net sometimes, no worries.

@ whiteblackSEO
When i get home later ill blur out the keyword/results so you can rank it, on one condition : i want to know your URL ;)

Khan, if you want PM me your order number, I'll refund you dude. You acted a tad rash but you seem ok. :)

As for the rest of you, new keywords have been uploaded. I appear to have used all the platinums we have for internal projects, but I am mining more of those as we speak.

I have a lot on right now with work and I'm potentially about to move across the country for a new job. I'm not going to get entire free evenings to deal with this keyword thing anymore, so this is what is going to happen.

Everyday I will upload 3 new keywords, they could be adsense/amazon, bronze through to platinum. I will not have time to do quality control, reports, upload and the rest of it for more than 3 keywords.

If you want them, great. If not, no worries.

Did some more in-depth research and its pretty hard to rank for that to be honest. Who knows, maybe another time I'll get lucky again :)

Hi,

I am browsing the forum for a while even if I decided lately to create a profile. My primary goal was to build an authoritative website with white hat and grey hat technics. I am pretty proud of what I achieve with new subscribers every weeks and a lot of social engagements on every new post I write.

But this project is not mature for monetization yet, that is why I decided to try to launch a MNS for Adsense or Amazon Affiliate. I need incomes for my main project. I know my strengths and weaknesses in SEO. The keyword research is absolutely not my speciality. So after reading the Ste's presentation, I said myself why not to try.

I looked at the niches and the metrics he offered to make my choice. I knew that it will oblige me to the same level of work and money investment on a bronze keyword or on a platinum one. Finally I picked a gold keyword with 8,100 searchs a month for an average $400 product price. I cannot manage 10 money sites as my main project will always remain the authoritative website. And I have a full time job and I am a father of two babies! I had not time to try a bronze keyword just to see if Ste's keywords worth something. Honestly I took a chance for $299. English is not my native language, so it will be a real challenge to target the US market with his keyword.

When I discovered the 2-word purchased keyword, I was a bit dubious about it at the beginning. It is related to a popular item in Home and Garden niche. How could it be a low competition keyword?

Here is my first misconception about keyword research: I was focusing on the item not on the keywords that people search for on search engines. Let me explain. If I tell you the item targeted by my keyword, you will give me the most common LSI keywords which come to your mind. If I put it on Google, some Amazon Affiliate websites already dominate the niche. Because the item is something that everyone have. And at an average cost of $400, be sure someone already wants to be in the top 3. But the gold keyword I bought is an unexploited manner to search this item on Google. With Keyword Planner, I found additional combinations. So at the end I can target 15,000 searchs a month. A Platinum keyword at the cost of a Gold keyword.

My second misconception
: I was afraid to see big retailers with high PA and DA on top 10 in the search results. Ste helped me (he is not as wild as I feared^^) to understand that none of them was accurate to this keyword and they were displayed there by Google per default, because of they are only authoritative websites for the broad niche. If I look at the 10 pages chosen by Google for the top 10 results, I find a lot of pictures of the item, but absolutely no written content, less than 100-200 words on each page only.

So I decided to test my keyword to know if it's really easy to rank as explained by Ste:
- I bought an EMD.
- I built a site on a free template to make as if it is a personal blog. I changed the css to make an attractive design.
- I scraped in my native language well written and informative buying guides with no English translation. I merged two contents I found, made some adjustements for the needs of my keyword and paid for a translation service. At the end a unique buyer's guide of 3,000 words.
- I hired a copywriter who prepared 1,000 words' articles for me.
- I will post one article per week until I reach a minimum of 10,000 words for the blog content.
- I will organize the blog posts in silo to the buyer's guide.

Afterthat, I just created 5 web 2.0 properties with 500 words of contents each, plus 5 profiles on other properties.

One twitter account I am trying to pump that link to the blog.

I bought few seo packages to link these properties and the blog articles, drip feed of course.

I built some manual links from very relevant websites, comments mainly.

Nothing more for the moment, just to see....

My budget: $600 all together including the $299 Gold keyword.

In three months, I could say: Well! Ste can be a buddy or is a f**king good seller I'd rather better never met... :D

I absolutely love the sales pitches. Great job. Suites the target market very well. I bookmarked and may return as I get more exp. under my belt.

Ok guys,

Going to level with you all now... 6th of June I start a new job meaning the chance of me being able to continue this will be 0%. I will be putting all my focus and energy into this job (except for the occasional wank, work hard wank hard).

We have 25 days then keyword sales will cease to exist. It will no longer be. It will be a thing of the past. Nothing more than a memory...

If you want a keyword, make it happen now. 0 fucks if you do or don't, I'm milking it while I can like a total sell out. 0 fucks.
