Theme Forest Affiliate Earnings

Hey all,

Got a question for anyone who has earned money from the theme forest affiliate program. I have a website that reviews a ton of wordpress themes with a buy link of course to my themeforest affiliate link.

The problem is that I have yet to get any conversion at all in the last few months. And I've sent clicks, currently I'm sitting at 3343 clicks and 0 registered 0 deposits. What the actual fck. I've literally never had that bad of conversion ratio on anything ever in the history of the internets.

These are all people who searched for 'best yoga studio wordpress theme' read my review, and clicked on the 'BUY NOW' link........sooo. wow.

I'm just surprised and disheartened after all the work writing and building the website to have nothing to show for it except 3300 free unique visitors for envato. I've even modified all the review pages to clearly state the current prices of the themes so there is zero sticker shock for potential buyers before they click thru.

Hope someone else who actually converts has a bit of info for me. Maybe envato is screwing me. Maybe nobody buys themes. IDK

Dude I have tried ThemeForest and CodeCanyon affiliate and honestly it just sucks! Via my blog I sent maybe like 60k traffic in a month and only made $55 in a month. Later on (maybe after a week) tried to vest $55 in buying a theme from there using another affiliate account and found that it didn't got me any commission. (Before anyone says same computer or IP or any other thing like that then it's a big NO! because I did that through another friends computer)

So in short, I doubt that they don't pay commission for every sale made by us, probably some trick by them. And one more thing I want to share, they have added some shitty 15-30% tax on commission made by affiliates or any sales made by their theme/scripts authors. So basically if you sell a $50 theme you'll get $15 as your affiliate cut and after they take taxes you are only left with $12.75 (which IMHO is really a shitty deal.)

Themeforest affiliate will count only first click sales, so if your visitors already visited themeforest in past you will get no commission, they just sucks but they have shit tons of themes so you can make some money if you are smart.

Just one word : STOP .
I started my very first affiliate site promoting their themes and all my works , my time ...got cheated . If someone already had account with themeforest , then even they went through your affiliate link and paid for theme , you got "nothing" lol . Now they came to be "envato" , one account for all their services , that mean no commission for all these services if someone already has had account with them . I got 9300 clicks and around 50$ in commission , so that sucks .

When a new user clicks your referral link, signs up for an account and purchases an item (or deposits money) via any of the Envato Market sites, you will receive 30% of that person's first cash deposit or purchase price.

You only get paid if you bring new paid users. Don't be surprised.

Themeforest, turbo, booster, debutify are all scamers, after driving about 50k to their site, I only earned about 300$ all site combined.

If you are doing affiliates for shopify themes like me, I recommend Plak Theme, they are reliable, their commission is 50% for themes from 295-595$. Got few thousands after only 4 months
