I've fought mma before thanks, obviously not at that standard but not sure what difference it makes. Boxing is more dangerous than mma anyway.

My point was the guy is a born fighter, the money is a bonus to him, the reward isnt the money. The reward is 'Winning'. Money is just a bonus to him.

I don't think for one minute he really has retired but if he has i can bet my life savings that he will never be happy in his own mind. He would probably never admit it but he would regret it for the rest of his life if he did retire now.

There you go again making assumptions "he's a bitch because he quits after losing a fight". Nope if you read into any of this you'd see he's quit due to an internal disagreement with the UFC if anything.

Good on him, least he won't end up cabbaged and barely able to string a sentence together.. Diaz springs to mind. Conor now leaves (if he really has left) with his brains still intact, millions of dollars better off and with a BRAND he can now build on without losing brain cells. Accomplished more in his short career than any other UFC fighter.
