Unfortunately it can be a bit expensive for some small/medium business. i would like to give it a try, but our budget can't go beyond $1000 at this time. My review:
If you are considering doing a PR, do not think any more and do it. Our business is in the language education, highly competitive niche. We have been doing a lot of SEO over the years. We wrote hundreds of quality blogs, tons of powerful backlinks, we optimized our server to the extreme in order to achieve great speed. All that pales compared to the boost that 1 link from the Huffington post has provided. Its been 72 hours since the article was posted online and so far most of our keywords and also the Google maps have shown considerable improvements.
I think is also important to mention that Matt has been very helpful and flexible. I asked him that we would like to have the article live within 2 weeks max, but instead he did it in less than 5 days. To be honest I don't think there isn't anyone on BHW offering so many media outlets to choose from, this is definitely an added value service.
I told Matt that we will definitely do more PR but unfortunately our budget is not that great. If anyone would like to PM me to perhaps share one PR together that would be fantastic.
