Before I try and get limitations or trigger some special review or something, I wanted to ask if it's possible to send more than $20,000 in one payment via Paypal. It's 100% legit business, the credit card is covered and limits have been raised to be able to send it. Sender is a registered business with Paypal business account, receiver is an individual.
Please no: "I think" or "I guess" answers. Search-results in google that lead to Paypal redirect me to different pages that don't contain the information I'm looking for. I guess this is caused by their most recent re-design :/

Neither sender nor receiver are located in the US.

If I were you I would call Paypal support and ask them.

In my experience, the maximum I've been able to send/receive has been $10,000USD so if you'd want to do $20,000 it'd have to be split into two payments.

Just call paypal support and ask them and also let them know this level of transaction will be going through your account and everything should be fine.

I can think of 10 better ways to send this sort of money than paypal...
Care to share?
Bank2Bank is not possible...
WU, moneygram etc are way more expensive than Paypal
Payoneer would be an option if they wouldn't force convert the money two times.

Pigeons ... pigeons ... here is the answer.

WU, MoneyGram etc. may be more expensive, but I never had trouble transferring money through them... and the recipient had it within minutes, safe and simple!

Putting $20K in $100 bills into a transparent envelope and mailing it in Flint, Michigan is better than sending it through PayPal. Hold tight for your account to be limited and frozen when you try to do two $10K transactions. Can't wait for that thread.

If you have valid paypal (with real documents) then you may send that amount. They may hold that payment and show them your documents. But, their charges are huge. above 4%
so, 10k = 400 USD cost. this is really big amount charges.
in that case, your cost will lower if you do Western union.

Just try to send, if you can't send the contact paypal. You can also try sending smaller multiple payments.

Why is bank transfer not possible? What countries are you sending the money between?

I've recently done a fair bit of research into a similar problem.

It would be cheaper for you to buy a fucking plane ticket and deliver cash in person rather than use paypal.

I don't pay the fees, the receiver does.
Sending to Turkey and the country I'm sending from put them on a high risk list.

Fees are ~$780 - plane ticket back and forth would cost more than that, also legally you can't take more cash with you than $10,000 so it would be three flights ;)

Any other suggestions?

Well, if you looking for alternative of paypal for more then 10k, then i should suggest you to use payoneer,
