On a side note, I looked into whether 301 redirects pass juice and I would highly advise AGAINST spamming the 301's to a perfectly good domain name. Why?

Because they pass anchor text and juice. Why ruin a clean domains anchor text ratio with spam is beyond me.

Anyway, I will be reporting back results in a few weeks.
