I recently purchased two domains from Leo.
Both domains are great quality, left me with options to either use them for a link campaign or as a brand/money site, will definitely be checking his list regularly for more domains in the future.

what i liked - what i really really liked - was being able to see the domain name i was interested in before i bought it. i was able to check out its backlinks and if i liked them, i could check out the archive records and if i liked them too i can buy with confidence.
i went through that process on several domains and ended up buying three all because i was able to check them out before handing my cash over.
i wish other domain sellers would take note because WHO wants to buy an unknown domain name sight unseen other than based on TF/CF metrics? not me thats for sure and that's why i'll be regularly monitoring the updated list of new domains for sale by DomainsRforever.
my ordered was placed over the weekend and all 3 domains were transferred to me a couple of hours later. i'll use this service again for two separate reasons:
1 i like the fact that i can check out the complete history of every domain im interested in before i part with my cash
2 by answering questions i had beforehand and promptly delivering my order shortly after payment, Leo has proven himself to be a trustworthy and reliable seller
The last point isnt something to be glossed over easily....
....put it this way i recently bought a web2.0 service from another supplier here on BHW back in mid January and thats the last ive heard of them - as a result, mods have been called in, the BSO has been suspended and a paypal dispute has been raised blah blah blah so yes, i'm going to be a bit wary of new suppliers but thats not the case here.

How far do you go to spam / history check your domains to check for previous PBN use and that sort of thing?

Red, i always check backlinks for spam while checking them in Ahrefs. As for previous PBN use, i try to look at the domain history in archive.org, but frankly do it only for the best domains. So in any case, your DD is needed before purchase.

I have purchased one domain today with high da, normal tf/cf & num of ref domains. This service have a few good domains (not overpriced, except brandable domains), but you MUST check all seo data very careful (all anchors, web archive, da, tf/cf), because spammy domains also in that list and I have found few domains which was already used in somebody pbns.

I re-checked all the metrics and updated the table on the site accordingly. For some domains, metrics dropped, for some - increased. For all domains with lowered metrics, I lowered the prices. For domains with raised metrics, I didn't raise the prices.
