Wondering if anyone else is doing blogs on cannabis and how is it working out?

I believe it is highly appreciated topic in Netherlands. I am not so certain for other countries. It is not something I would write about.
I would write about food, cats and organic farms... but not that.

i actually, plan on blogging this. In the future we expect most parts of the world to legalize cannabis for medical and recreational uses. So why not blogging now?

I usually take down the bridge when I pass it, or when everybody else passed it a long long time ago, or I just write about all the boring stuff... but if you want to have a huge advantage and a massive head start, well why not.

Started one a couple months ago, more as a hobby site though. Only made a few $s so far, some of the seed bank affiliates pay 20-30%. I go to amsterdam every couple of months so do legit reviews on different strains.
Grow it also so I write a bit on that but only 2 plants now as my business is e commerce and cba with them trawling through my company accounts trying to make out I deal and money launder if I get caught. Then they might not like the look of my invoices of 500$ for 'ste fishkin keywords' and sape etc either lol
Will put more effort into it soon and see how it goes

It's highly appreciated among smokers, which is a small percentage of the Dutch population.

In any case, I'd write about it as it is a trending topic with it being legalized in specific states of America.

I actually bought a site a week ago, I played around with some word combinations for something completley diffrent and by accident found a domain perfect to have cannabis related stuff on.

You'll find that you have a pretty big audience if you keep up on it. Follow the bigger news sites/blogs about it and poach their stories. Then post the article links on social media. You'll gather visitors if you keep at it.

I was thinking about getting into this niche. I'm a big fan of youtube and find it very effective in driving traffic plus can make a little money with view time, however I believe cannabis related stuff is not allowed with adsense so would have to find outside sponsors or advertisers to monetize the actual youtube channel. There's some good affiliate programs out there for weed although you could even do something like Amazon with some vaporizers, funny tshirts, some good snack ads, etc.
