[Cheap SEO Guide] A Dolla' and a Dream

Tinyurl has major issues it seems with making bulk links now as I have tried since yesterday and it seems to not be able to shorten most of my already shortened links. Also when I try and just make it make about 50 links to some of my web 2.0's the links it does create have errors where it brings me to a tinyurl error page instead of my web 2.0.

The bitly shortener makes 1 shortened link per link you give it so that still makes this very manual. It even has difficulty on shortening other shortened links as well.

For now I will just attempt this by spamming my manually made 301's (like 10 of them). This shouldn't have too much of an effect on this method hopefully.

Maybe this post is what is making tinyurl have so much difficulty for now. I never had issues with their bulk shortener before this.

Thanks anyway for trying to help.

I hope I am not causing this issue. I am also experiencing these black out delays now. Sucks!

You do not need the second layer. It helps, but is not needed.

The user blow (Who I quoted) has the bulk bitly method, it works if you want to give it a spin.

Searched for long time and it looks like everyone here also so here is bit.ly mass shorteren that actually works:

Great job finding that! I am sure it will help a lot of people out!

thanks OP its similar to barkay method but provides some new perspective

Going to try this with a few tier 1 links going to my money site.

So GSA Blast (Tier 3) ---> Shortened Links (Tier 2) ---> Web 2 (Tier 1) ---> Money Site

Only doing about half of the Tier 1 links I have, probably not a good idea to blast every one I have built. Will report back with the results. I'm hopeful. Tier 3 blast will be high(er) quality links, not just spam either.

I was just looking into expired domain, and I realize the stats for them are listed as PR and PA, hardly any TF. So my question is, how much does the PR of these web2 affect the rankings? Is there a huge difference if I just go out and get 10 pr1 tumblrs, or 1 pr3 tumblr?

This is not easy top answer because PR and DA are just metrics and PRE hasn't been updated for two years, you need to check the backlink profiles of your tumblr blogs, that should tell you if you have enough power to rank or not

A couple of bulk shorteners I've found:

  • cekpr.com/goo.gl-bulk Does up to a 99 google link
  • sahildua.com/bulk-url-shortener/ is another Google shortener
  • kwel.me/index.php?bulk=1 these are for kwel dot me links
  • bottopia.com/software/bulk-url-shortener/ is a free bot that creates: tinyurl, ad fly(and q gs), mcaf ee, is gd, bit do, mrcly

Scrapebox has a mass shortener built into that you can also train to add more shorteners to it. scrapebox.com/mass-url-shortener is the tutorial for it.

Ninja SEO has a URL multiplier that will take a link and submit it to multiple URL shortener services. You can get it ninjaseotools. com/bulk-url-shortener-tool.php

Haven't thought about the scrapebox addon. Thanks for that one.

I want to try this method, could you clarify a few points?

Money Site <- Web2.0 <-- 20 301s <-- 400 301s <-- 10,000 links

Is the above how it works and is it only a single web2.0 per 20 301s?

Roughly how many base level web2.0s does it take to start seeing results?

Yet another good share, thanks! For tier 3, do you build 10k links total (~ 25 links per tier 2 url) or 10k links to EACH tier 2 url? I guess it's 10k total, otherwise you need to build 4 million links for all 400 url-s on tier 2.

A question for clarification: URL shorteners for themselves dont do anything unless I publish them anywhere or use them as a filter as you suggest and feed them with backlinks. Is that correct?

That is right. A few Web 2.0s will show serious movement. I use this method directly to sites as Churn and Burn, the Web 2.0 is a buffer and passes most link juice.

You can also use this method for Parasites.

You are exactly right.

You do not need to build the second tier of redirects if you do not want to. That is optional but it helps my 301s stick longer.

That is right. They may count as a backlink if they get crawled but it will have no real value.

Lightningblitz, for curiosity sake, are all 301 redirects do follow? If not, how can you tell the difference?

The ones I use are.

Some shorteners are not 301s, which you can find out on the shorteners website home page.
