So I'm a DOMCOP user.

Great service overall.

I just want to know why when I buy domains with the following metrics:

TF 20
CF 20 - 30
Age - Over a couple years or more
AHREFS Check: No spammy links | Good links
Majestic Check: No spammy links | Good links

So basically everything checks out.

However . . .

2/10 domains that I get don't get indexed.

Yes they are all optimized with unique articles SEO'd to the fullest, etc.

I want to know how can we GUARANTEE that a domain will get indexed.

BTW, almost all of these domains are never indexed in the first place.

8 of them DO get indexed and 2 just refuse to no matter what you do.

Plus they all have the same / similar metrics.

If they have been used to auto-generate content and see if it ranks (done often), you wont see new stuff in links or anchors, and you won't see it in archive (blocked often), so there's no way to know ahead of time.

It's a numbers game and I have the same issue from time to time.

If it's some onsite issue, you can request a reconsideration and you have a good chance of having the penalty lifted.

Have you checked hosting history, snapshots and archive? Those are HUGE factors that you have missed.

99% of the domains I buy get re-indexed. You guys are doing something wrong.

So what, is has a clean link profile? The site could have been used for a lot of naughty things without building a single link.

accelerator_dd is right - it's a numbers game.

Unfortunately, there is no way you can accurately predict whether a domain had been issued a penalty in the past. The only way to figure this out is to purchase the domain and write no content on it.

You can either leave it with the default parking page of the registrar or put up a simple coming soon landing page. Within two weeks of this the domain should ideally get indexed. You can test this by simply typing "site:domain.com" in Google. When the parking pages (or your landing page) shows up, then you can start spending on content and put more effort into the website.

If the website does not get indexed within a month, it's best to cut your losses and let it go.

I've had websites that have taken more than two weeks to get indexed back. Your mileage may vary.

This is hardly a fault with domcop?

Just throw up a single page site and see if it indexes (try the video sitemap thing). If it doesn't index after a couple of weeks then ignore it and move on. At worse you are out < $10 for a domain and a few mins of your time.....

Forgot to mention earlier - this is very useful in case you did not know this.

In the Advanced Search at DomCop, setup the following

1. Moz Spam Score < 7
2. Majestic TF/CF ratio > 0.8
3. Enable "Hide Spammy"

These should filter out a large percentage of the spammy domains and hopefully increase the number of "not penalized" domains that you fine.

He said he checked the archives. How do you check hosting history? What do you look for? I have the same problem as the OP. Very hard to believe your claim of 99%
