Hey nada99, I wouldn't go after the European market. They have the Right To Be Forgotten, which cancels out about 50% of things that reputation managers would be able to do.

Though, I'd want to know what the on the ground experience is.

Maybe there are holes or exceptions that could be served. Maybe there is a significant time lag between finding, requesting removal, and having it done. There might be some value in assisting clients within this time frame. Those rules apply for individuals, but not organizations, AFAIK, so maybe there is a niche to serve.

There may be other things that would be difficult to know from over here in the US.

You've got that right. There's also a lot of people selling (or requesting signup in return for) some weak or poorly written material. So it does take some discernment to get at what one wants. Outside of searching BHW, for non-BHW material, a good place to start for a noobie are the trusted sources lists that have been posted on here.

There definitely is a need for bringing this stuff together in an organized fashion.

The only tool I'd add to your list, for noobies, is a good mindmap ap. It helps greatly with organizing material/ideas/tips.

As for perfection, you can always add updates later (recommend adding to the original post vs posting it only later in the thread - too easy to miss when your thread gets to be 40 to 50 pages - it becomes TL/DR for all the stuff in the middle).

The "Right to be Forgotten" allows people to apply for and have their negatives deindexed by Google. If your clients can easily remove their negatives, they don't need ORM services. However, there are many situations that don't qualify for the RTBF and still need ORM help.
