Strange. Are you sure those kw were fetched and not from old stored campaigns? what's your os? could it be because I'm on Windows 7 64 bits, IE 9?
I tried almost everything, updating adobe air, flash, restarting...nothing happens in the keyword planner screen.

I have finally found the solution after countless installs/unistalls and reverting to previous versions of air/flash....etc
It's so simple: go to your google adwords account and change the display language to English. Worked instantly!

I have been using longtail pro for a long time and this software does a good ob analyzing niches. As for me, it lacks some important features that I would definitely add, however, overall, I definitely recommend it.

Long Tail Pro is very good but it becomes even better with the platinum plugin. I had purchased the lifetime license of the platinum plugin recently and that reduces a lot of time in finding keywords. I would recommend you to go for the platinum addon if possible in addition to Long Tail Pro. If not, the basic software is good enough. Anyways, even with the platinum plugin, you would need to check the actual top 10 results again once you find a low competitive score. If you are a simple blogger for example, the basic software should be good enough for finding keywords.

Yes, it is not fully accurate but gives a good idea on which long tail keywords to try at first. Even if the score is low, I personally always recommend to check the top 10. That is why I mentioned

It does reduce the time in finding good keywords but some more work needs to be done.
