Hello,

is Longtail pro still very stronger to do research for keywords or not ?

Yes it still is pretty good, but for best results use it in combination with some manual diligence.
 
i have a version but it doesn't show me the results...
i explain: when i click generate keywords, Longtail pro Fetching keywords ideas but no results... like he is freezing..
 
ayoub704 its not freezing. You need to click on keyword planner in the lower right corner of the program and sign into that page and all that.

Make sure that it says you are signed in then just cancel out the box (not the whole program just the popup window) and rerun your search. It will work now.

If you leave the program up for long periods of time you might have to re sign in on the planner tab periodically.
 
It's good for keyword researching. But sometime its freeze. Besides, you have to learn the ways to analyze the top 10 serps to use longtailpro effectively
 
It's great specialized tool, especially in Platinum version.

UNF is better at KW research. Long Tail Pro Platinum is very good at competition analysis.
Another option to consider is Market Samurai.
 
I use it alongside market samurai.

LTP for discovering keywords and MS to analyze their competition.
 
there is a button on the down the right side the most left buttton i think that signs you in to google click on it and see if it is logged in
 
Got the freezing problem (after I sign in to google), and things don't end even if I put a slow google-check, serp checker never finishes (with just 8 keywords), too much captchas for google (doesn't matter if I set it to 2 or 20 sec) and no proxy support to avoid all that.
Honestly I would not get it again, as I barely use it.
Scrapebox, Market Samurai together with some manual research and semrush (the $70/month-account) is a fine combination for me.

Can anyone confirm if their LTP is working? I have downloaded the 2.4.42 trial version, and it's stuck in "fetching keywords", nothing happens even after showing keyword planner, restarting...etc. Rank and competition check seems to work ok.

Yep! Market Samurai is a lot better for competition analysis. But for some reason they force you to make a separate tab for EVERY keyword, and reload everything. This is SOOOOOOOO impractical!
 
Just tested my LTP with current version 2.4.42. Its working OK, as it is fetching kws as it should. Anyway, if you want better results at kw research you should upgrade it to Platinium version, as its something about 17 or 19$ per month, but in that way you could recieve some additional data about the competition and the how hard is to rank for that keyword (you can see tha scale from 0 to 100) :)
 
I prefer checking the level of competition manually and competition evaluation is the only thing that long tail pro does that Keyword Planner doesn't do. If you are like me, you probably don't need any tool besides Keyword Planner.
