Guide for Getting Started

VPS read here:

Massplanner + Followliker are said to work fine aslong as you input the correct proxy settings.

Yes it makes sense, create a large targeted following in your niche through multiple pages then use it as leverage to grow your main business.
Awesome, thanks man. I appreciate the help. I was thinking of having my main business account to run MP/FL until I get some decent traction (follower wise 10k+? 50k+? not sure how many yet I'll consider good traction) and then controlling that one manually myself (at this point change username and make it associated with my name) on my phone and having the botted ones to use as leverage to help the main one grow. Since the main will be attached to my name I was thinking having it run FL may lead to some complications/ingenuine interactions. Your thoughts? How would you go about it?

Thanks man,

My game plan is somewhat similar to yours I guess. Looking to dabble in Instagram in my spare time and try to grow a good few accounts and build an empire (hopefully :P) in a few different niches. I am not looking to plug a business at the moment (I freelance in film industry) but may do so later in time/more experience. So for now I would like to have fun and grow some accounts in some niches (I like numbers, stats and seeing progress :P).

E.g.
- Fashion (multiple - niches within niches here- M/F)
- Health/fitness
- Nature/photography
- Motivational
---etc - just a lot of evergreen accounts like that with high quality content and running (and post photos) with FollowLiker.

Starting smaller with 5 or 10 and then scale up as I gain practical experience with doing this.

Will need to get a VPS though... I understand what they do/how they work but have never used them before so am little nervous/inexperienced with setting it up and running it so will need to research that I guess.

I think I will try the Massplanner process for creating Instagram accounts (not sure how to set profile pic for account?), and if not I have a cheap $30 android phone that I can use to change Device ID to create with.

Sorry this post is a little jumbled, a lot of it just flowing through me as I reply. Looking forward to sharing this journey with you :)
I'm with you on enjoying the numbers and stats. I've only been doing it for a week (manually) and its fun to keep track of things. Yeah, I also think I could end up doing more as I gain experience, we'll see. Yeah, my niches are what I'm interested in too so it will be fun to create them and see how they do. Thats awesome man, yeah having experience with film will definitely help you with putting out good content. Did you go to school specifically for it? What kind of freelance work do you do? I've dabbled in photography (couple classes in school, have Canon 5d mark ii) so it's helped me a lot figure out what's visually appealing and such in photographs, still a lot to learn of course though.

Once my school finals are done in a week I'll be focusing on this solely to get everything up and running. I have the money to get things going I just need to figure out the most efficient plan before I do anything. Hopefully we can help each other with this process and figure some stuff out ha!

VPS/Servers are the computers itself elsewhere.

Depending on which kind of server you're acquiring will determine whether you need to set it up.
Since you're a newb (like myself) you'll be going with a VPS....meaning it will be preconfigured already for you.
Think of it like you come to my house (virtually) and you then use my new/fresh pc.

All you would then need to do is put whatever you want on it, your choice of bot(s), your pictures and videos (if you'll be uploading from the bots), ect.,

Its not complicated, no need to overthink anything, just set your gameplan & EXECUTE!
Good luck,
Thanks for the explanation man, appreciate it! What's your plan/goals for your accounts?

Hope we all kill it with our (soon to be) instagram ecosystems

I'm not running any main business account on a bot/ proxy I want it completely safe incase of a ban wave, all accounts will be for promotion.

I am starting two ecommerce website that will have a safe business account for each on a new phone.

9 Accounts per niche will be grown and then leveraged to gain followers/ traffic to the main business accounts.

The purpose is that I will run FL on tame settings but by having 9 accounts in one niche the length of time to get for example 100k followers will be 9 times quicker even on tame settings.

So in the length of time it would take to gain approx 10k per account I will gain 100k+ as I will do crossover shoutouts on all accounts.

ahhhh gotcha gotcha. I see what you're saying. Interesting about not using bot/proxy on main to keep it safe, I think I'll do that as well. You never know, they could find a way to ban people who use FL in the future and then your main acc would get busted and you'd be screwed. Better to keep that one safe.

Ahhh gotcha, yeah shoutouts on each other accounts makes a lot of sense. Still figuring out how many to do with each niche, why did you decide on 9? So you'll have to ecommerce main accs, with each having 9 niche ones. So that means 20 total you're going with for now? Just curious to see how you're setting things up!

Thanks for the help man.

For sure, I'm focused on building a successful business so risking your main source of traffic/ income from Instagram is silly. Atleast if the bots get banned you still have the followerbase that has been built on your main account which you can grow organically or by shoutouts.

I have thousands of pictures saved for all accounts to setup, and the content is of the highest quality.

The 9 accounts are all based around the lifestyle interests of potential customers, similar to a magazine. But I will be following the followers of my main competitors so I know that when I acquire 10-100k-1m followerbase over 9 accounts I know they will have an interest in my main brand/ business, even though the 9 accounts are lifestyle based but the competitors followers are interested in the same product my business sells.

Essentially using the 9 accounts as a gateway to advertise the same type of product, much like a magazine.

interesting stuff man, thanks for the insight. very useful information for me to consider as I develop a gameplan of my own. how far are you currently in the process? I definitely need to sit down and compile high quality content, did you use online searches? How are you dealing with the issue of giving credit to original photographers? (technically any image posted must be owned by us according to Insta) I was thinking I wouldn't bother worrying about that with bot accounts but if I do so with the main I would get permission (I've already reached out to a few photographers in my niche that gave me the OK as long as I give them credit and put their username).

I like the analogy of a magazine, I bet more people regularly use Insta than those who read magazines these days.

the guy who linked...
thanks man, will give it a read (for some reason wont let me quote your post)

Instagram is consumed in the same way as a magazine, with you curating and distributing high quality content daily.

Either download straight from a users Instagram, or I find relevant tumblr pages.

The difference is if you have a 100k magazine subscribers they MIGHT view your small ad on page 47, but on Instagram a large portion of your followers will see your posts on a daily basis and take action to like/ follow/ buy.

Technically you should, but I know "Instagram Brands" which turnover millions and most of their content is not their own other than the product shots, if you get contacted to take it down just remove it at that point. I wouldn't post any images with a persons face though.

damn, you're right about that. Haven't thought about instagram in that way but it makes a ton of sense. Older forms of media like magazines will end up being obsolete in the future at this rate.

What's you're posting schedule going to be like for your main acc vs 9 promotion accounts? I've read the two best times to post are 5pm vs 2am EST, so I was thinking maybe twice a day? With my main account, probably not as often. not sure yet

What kind of captions are you going to put? Call to action ones like "double tap this!" or something else? I just feel like saying something like "like this and tag your friend!!" seems almost spammy but it seems to work so what do I know.

and thanks for the info on images, some very good points.

Depends where your users are from, after warming the accounts up I will post every 4-6 hours consistently to hit most areas.

No spammy captions, think of what your objective if.

Example if your growing a car page: "Thoughts on the colour?" "Like or dislike?" "Yes or no" "Not sure on this.. thoughts?" "Tag someone who loves Bugatti's!"

Sure man I'm happy to help!

Same here, looking forward to it! :)

and also thanks to Euphorix, Dbeck19 and GreyHatNewb for sharing your tips, thoughts and opinions, they'll all been really insightful. :)

I'll share with you what I've found in my research endeavors for photos and the process with them. (I can't post links so that made things a little more difficult for you and I, and just make my post whole lot fukin uglier...)

......

So yeah... just a few ideas :)
Thanks man, will definitely try out this strategy! Finding time efficient ways to go about accumulating pics is definitely important.

Any other ideas to have the followers you do have to stay engaged? I've been manually liking/commenting on my followers (especially those who like pics) and trying that just to see if that helps at all. I usually compliment something about the pic and ask a question, they seem to really like that. Certainly takes a lot of work though, even with my small following of 500 or so. Not sure if this is something I could realistically once I have 10k+ followers on my main (the one i will control manually).

I'd rather have a smaller following with great levels of engagement than a big one with low levels. So that's what I'm trying to think of what else to do to optimize that.

I imagine with the promotion accounts that shoutout to my main, only people actually interested will bother to check out my main acc and follow. So that alone suggests that they will be more likely to like pics in the future. Which I guess explains the value of the shoutouts in your niche.

Yeah man, I'm with you that that is super time-consuming, but I also think it is totally not necessary if you want good engagement. I think the biggens for engagement (I'm no expert... atm ;) ) would be - GREAT high-quality and RELATIVE images that people within that niche would actually want to see - put yourself in their shoes for what they would want. And the time of posting would probably be the second. I can't think of many more that would be a big player for engagement. Oh, probably quality followers though! By following the followers of accounts similar to yours that have GREAT engagement, and not following the pages who have 2m+ followers and only 1-2k likes ea photo. Obviously not interested (or probably fake) in the content they post lol.

Have you gotten a VPS yet? I'm needing to get one as well mate, but need to look into how to set it up and run FollowLiker on it properly.

What niches are your accounts and business? PM me if you want :P

Cheers :)
