The referee finished Aldo off with a knee in the face lol, watch the second angle replay closely.

waited 7AM from yesterday night to see a 10 seconds match LOL

& I'm over here still hoping that Sonnen and Silva have a rematch #3

First Ronda, then today Weidman an Aldo.

McGregor, Starting to Like this Guy kind of, Just because he is backing what he says. He said KO in first 4 Minutes. But that happened in 13 sec.

Still Feel Bad for Aldo, Undefeated in 10 years and now this.

Opportunity for Frankie Edgar Now.

It was a great card besides the 1 punch finish main event.

Who did conor sell his soul to for all these predictions to be true.

To be completely honest, it's all fixed fights.

Anderson Silva.. Rhonda.. and now Aldo..
It's all part of making big money.

Do you really believe they would fight like that?
Silva who NEVER trolls during his fights, would just randomly play around with his arms down during that champion fight? No.
Rhonda who never fights like that, and she acted super cocky and played around during her fight and got kicked in the face. No, she doesn't do that.
Aldo, who is one of the most respected and best fighters would just rush in with his chin up for Connor to KO him? Nope.

It's all part of a business idea UFC does.
Also has defended his title for so long, there was literally NOBODY who can beat him. You can check his stats and his previous fights, nobody stood a chance against him, not even McGregor.
If McGregor lost this fight, he would never get a rematch against Aldo again, and Aldo would just go about his business being champion and nothing interesting happens.
If Aldo loses, then he gets a rematch opportunity, and with that another fight than fans will go crazy for and pay for PPV and UFC makes a shit ton of money again.

Business is business, you really think Aldo will just fight shitty like that? Nah.
Aldo and McGregor are probably having a few drinks together on the beach having a good time with all that money they made.

It's called sports, the theory of competition.

Evolution states only the strong will survive, yeah it works. But the theory of competition states just because they are the strong does not mean they cannot get the shit kicked out of them.

Just because your opponent is bigger, stronger, faster, better... the odds can be totally stacked, but competition is not a maths test.

If you have the hunger, passion and act fearlessly you will win.

The experts and stats and TV pundits can say whatever the fuck they like, but ultimately it does not mean shit. If someone goes out with absolute confidence like McGreggor did you will find it goes an awful long way.

Nike did an advert on it, its very good.

ps. Do you really think the UFC have enough money to pay Aldo off to take a fall? He's been a champion for 10 years. He is the top of his world, he has proven he is one of the greats and has worked his entire life for that.. do you really think a few million would make him take the hit?

No. These people are going into that octagon willing to die.

Haha Fuck me there's always one.. Thenub - go check out the video of Aldo heart broken in his dressing room after the fight then come back and tell me this was a fix. Do you realize where Aldo comes from and how much this will be killing his pride and honor etc.. and now to have to go back to his homeland without the belt he's had for 10 years, that would be absolutely killing him. You're off your head if you think he would ever throw a fight!

Nope I'd say he faulted because he let Connor into his head.. it was written all over his face before the fight started, you could see the doubts in his eyes.. and that's all it takes.

Connor has worked hard for this. It makes me cringe when people start talking the sort of rhetoric you are. The man is a different class, it's as simple as that.

Im a bit dissapointed. I expected so much more from this card, especially from the Romero - Jacare fight and of course mr. Aldo. That was ridiculous, haha. The Rockhold beating on Weidman made up for everything, though :) Amazing performance by Luke. He just beat the shit out of Weidman the indestructible :) Loved it. The Maia - Nelson fight went exactly as it was supposed to go. I have absolutely no idea why the UFC considered Nelson the favorite in this battle. This was the easiest fight to predict.

BTW, can't wait to see Ronda's ass handed to her for the second time by the lovely miss Holm :)

Weidman looked off, but it was one heck of a fight.

But damn, Connor was just on another level. His timing was a thing of beauty.

Aldo is one of the greatest all time, and Connor destroyed him with ease.

That was one of the best cards I ave ever seen. Great fights.

Lol, it's entertainment bud and i'm sure you guys both still believe all the info media tells you.
Too naive.. I'm pretty sure Aldo would give up the fight for a few $ million, and then the media films him after the fight so you guys "believe" into the hype again during rematch.
In the end, he's going to get a rematch anyways, they both get another shit ton of $$ from the rematch.

For example, a while back the biggest boxing match, Floyd vs Pacquiao, they could've fought like 5 years ago and it would've maybe got $30 million, but Floyd built the hype, the media built the hype, talking so much shit, it finally got to a point where they made $300 million+ together because of all the hype people like you guys believe in.

Anybody with half a brain can figure it out, in the end, money is money. The world circles around money.

No I don't watch nor believe the media.. Question everything is my opinion where they are concerned. So please don't assume to know what I would believe.

He was beat fair and square. Like I said there isn't a hope Aldo would take a dive and the fact you think that shows me you are the naive one, not I. By the way Aldo will have made a few million from the PPV alone.

If it was just for "entertainment" we would have got that.. we would have got a few entertaining rounds. We didn't - we got a 10 year champion destroyed in 10 seconds. But yeah its all a fix man.

They didn't do the Floyd match years ago because Floyd is a big dancing bitch that would never take that fight years ago when paq would have beat him.. he took at the end of his career yes for a big pay day due to the hype his pansey ass had built dodging it for years, BUT the main reason he didn't take it years ago was fear of losing his belt.. not some conspiracy or long term hype goal. Floyd only fought people he knew he could beat and he didn't feel confident on beating paq until paq was much older. I assumed everyone knew that and surprised someone with your "apparent" knowledge didn't know too.

Yes money is money.. but not everyone dances to the sound of the almighty dollar. Pride, honor and legacy (especially where aldo is concerned) mean a hell of a lot more to some fighters. Anybody with half a brain could see that.

So these people train all their lives, fighting like fuck, progressing through the ranks getting kicked, punched and choked out for decades to get their time in the UFC... then they throw it all away and bend over to fake a fight for entertainment?

I would argue if Aldo and Conor went all 5 rounds it would have been far more entertaining and got a lot more coverage.

This is not the WWE, this is 2 people capable of killing each other going all out for glory. They love what they do.

If you removed the money side of it they would still do it.

If they did 5 rounds and Aldo lost, then it would be clear McGregor is the better fighter.
They "finish" the champion with a KO or TKO so it seems like it was a bit of luck.
Is it a coincidence that these great fighters just ALL get knocked out? Silva, Rhonda, Weidman, Aldo?
When most of them has NEVER even been KOed before? Hell, most of them rarely lost before.

Aldo gets KOed in 13 seconds, making it the fastest record. It gets SO MANY people talking about it, once again creating hype for the rematch.
If Aldo won by decision, then it would've been a more entertaining fight but there would be nothing after, no rematch. McGregor doesn't get another chance.
I would say different if UFC was a sport like Soccer or Basketball but it isn't. It's controlled by someone (Dana White), and if he wants Aldo to lose, Aldo will lose.

Of course they love what they do, they train to be #1, but who is going to know they are #1 if they aren't shown on media?
I sure as well wouldn't have known about Aldo if I didn't see him on TV.

Again, it takes a little open mind to understand what i'm saying. If you are close minded then you will completely disagree.
Don't believe everything somebody tells you because they're the authority. (Like governments lol)

This side by side footage of Conor before the fight and during the fight suggests to me he knew exactly what he was going to do. Mind you its like they say, the more you practice the luckier you get....

When it's two great fighters, it does take a bit of luck and skill to KO one another.

Lol. Almost seems like Dana told McGregor to do exactly that to "KO" Aldo, they're all probably in on it.
