The Shopify + Facebook Method FAQ - All Questions Here Please.

I gave this method a shot since I always love to try new things and gain knowledge/wisdom from it.

I have a 1,000,000 follower tumblr account in my hands and I decided to give it a shot (doesn't hurt to try.)

Took me a day or two to set up shopify and make the store professional/brandable/clean AF. It was pretty tricky using shopify for the first time since I've been using wordpress FOREVER.

Anyways, this morning after class I finally finished designing the site / adding the proper apps yadayada ect.

and 30 minutes in and I made a sale lol

Guys, if you don't have any start up money. Try other twists, you DON'T have to use only facebook ads. There's so many other ways to get traffic!

If you need 100s of items, each minimum 30 ads to find successful products, it means you are doing this as a hobby because if you have that much money to spend it makes no sense to actually try and make quick money with this method.
Btw, "you can achieve this with just a bit of dedication and testing" contradicts your earlier claim that "I never said this was easy".

I think he had, like everyone, dedication to make money and made "a bit" of testing, yet barely any results.

Would really love if the "for noobs" hype around this method would disappear, it really requires a lot of experience, time and money to do this.

I now have a 0.05$ CPC ad but I get no purchases. So a lot of people click (18%) and go to the website (no likes or shares so far, just clicks) but no one buys. Dafuq? Lol

My price was 15 slashed at 0.05 and 9.95 shipping. People may think this is a bad deal. Put the slashed price tag at 25. Let's see if this works.

The method is getting pretty crazy so I would say the competition is getting hot on FB

Once again, like I said, people comment all the time saying they will buy but they don't. You have a "cool" or "cute" item but not one people say "WOW I NEED THAT." It doesn't matter what the comments say, what matters is your sales.

I never said this was easy, I said it was possible and profitable. Obviously people go to eBay and Amazon to purchase items, but that is ENTIRELY different than this method. This method is to find IMPULSE BUYERS, who can't help themselves to a "free" item. If you are comparing this method to general e-commerce, you need mental help.

That's the last I'll talk with you, since all you do is make excuses and try to claim to people fb traffic doesn't buy stuff.

I finally found an ad that looks promising guys. 2, actually. Getting a 0.05 and 0.09$ CPC. It looks finally promising after 60$ spent in ads. I hope I hit the good ad! It's my 15th. Just so everyone knows you might not have this first shot.

"for the noobs" Sorry but thats bullshit noobs can so this and I've seen it with my own eyes. Want to know something? I've seen a lot of my followers stores as they send them to me for help and the MAIN PROBLEM is niches. Out of 30 I've seen only 4 were decent niches.

I've seen a single mother that knows jack shit about FB rise to over $200 a day now.

It's not that hard to spend a day writing shit down and researching niches. It's also not that hard to start 10 Facebook adverts on a low budget and find the winners. I'll say it again to anyone who doesn't get conversions. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE NICHE. It doesn't matter how much engagement or clicks you get on the FB adverts is the niche is shit you are just wasting money.

Another problem is the newbies expect to just cream it and not spend any money... you will spend money and lose money with this just like any other method... do it right and you will make that money back 10 fold.
 
Right now I'm waiting for the seller to reply so I can start building my website.

Do I have to ask them if they're willing to drop ship first before I can start? Or can I "act" like a customer and buy when there's orders? Thanks

303 conversions and 0 sales? This is not possible. What sort of conversions did you get then if not sales? Where did you put the pixel?

Put the pixel on website visits. I made no sells so I can't track em (purchases).

EDIT: You think I should put it on purchases anyway?

Ah, ok. Are you using Shopify or Woocommerce?
Maybe better way is to select "purchases" as a pixel and then put it on checkout/thank you page. Then a conversion will only be counted if someone really completed an order. But you are not charged for conversions anyhow. You will be either charged per impressions of your ad or per clicks to your link, just what you selected. Better select CPC, cost per click to your website.

I failed big time lol. I just talked with Facebook Support after seeing my website not getting any actual visits. My pixel had an issue so it was tracking all my visits on my website and not the people actually interacting with the ad on Facebook. Oh well, it cost me 90$. Moving on to other tries! This time I'll have a shot at it I guess haha, can't be worst.

Just be careful guys and make sure you're not screwing up like me.
 
I did this on a fanpage I growth to 1.5+ million fans (hispanics).
In 3 days tests, I got 2 orders. I was posting only the products images and many visitors and people that cancelled orders.
I just need to put everything in order with a Vendors system and automate the process. Its difficult that a supplier wants to use your system. But anyways. It came to mind that you can use API from PrintAura, thePrintful and many others that connect to WooCommerce.
Selling prints online is not a bad idea.
If anyone reading this want to put something in the move, I can grow networks and design prints to sell. Wanting to JV with someone for a long time now.

That's awesome man! Just would like to say hi all :p first post. I have been dabbling on and off into getting into affiliate marketing and after seeing the potential here I had to try. For a complete and total new my question to you was besides Facebook ads what else would you recommend? I am currently unemployed and 21 so I have all the time in the world to try to get some residual revenue rolling.
