The Shopify + Facebook Method FAQ - All Questions Here Please.

Hi Franklin! thanks for reply. Yea, i am starting more than 1 ads. I realized there are so many interests to try out. so it all boils down to experiment right?

I should probably mention this again you are starting more than 1 advert correct? Starting 1 random advert almost never works. it's best to do split testing etc. Thats bring me to the question. I test both sometimes there is no correct reply that I can give you because cause every niche is different.

Interesting method, I have to admit. I started reading on it and taking action yesterday. Set up shop and a few facebook ads. No conversions or adds to cart as of yet, but my CTR is at 6,93% and cpc at 0.08€. My shop looks like shit and that's the problem here probably, thus the no conversions, but there is so much potential here definitely.

I am using WooCommerce and set up a shop this night just for some fun experimenting with FB ads.

But the problem I have is that shipping price isn't included and people can order the product 100% free now without shipping cost.

Anyone here that know how to solve this?

Thanks.

Hello people. Maybe you can help me. I'm interested in this option earnings. Recommend my what payment system to receive money from this method. What methods of money if I am not from America

I think Paypal is the best and easiest solution if you're starting out. (America or out of America)

I have a beautiful Shopify shop in the women's fashion niche. But I can't get my Facebook cpc below $1. I'm using very targeted audiences and well written copy. Any ideas? How are you guys getting such low cpc?

But how do we take out the money if we're not from America? For example, Paypal does not accept my Payoneer US virtual bank account so I can't withdraw money to that account.

I Imagine women's fashion would be very competitive. You will be competing with massive corporate companies.

Then you would need to contact PP and sort it out with them.

Franklin i've been stalking your profile and website and I can't seem to find what I am looking for so I had to ask.

I remember reading a reply you posted a while back. You said these guys are doing dropshipping right and you linked to a website that sold army/fashion looking bags.

What was that site called haha. It was a great example and now It had slipped my memory.

Hi Guys,

I just started my Facebook campaign yesterday. Today i got some conversions. But no sales. Pretty excited! Just to check with you guys if i am on the right track?

When i create the campaign objective. I can link it to a pixel. I chose "Add to Cart" as the objective. The other options are not available (grayed out). E.g. Purchases.

Below is my ad results. (Started 3)

It seems that i should be tweaking on the first ad.

Here are some burning questions i have

1) For conversions, am i targeting the wrong objective? Logical thinking, i believe i should be using "Purchases" as objective. I am not sure why it is grayed out.

Appreciate any advice

Cheers

Great blog, great method, and clever way to make shopify aff commission. Thanks for sharing it all.

Who wants to see the perfect advert? This is an image I found on a Facebook group. This is a combination of a passionate niche and Facebook advert optimisation/tweaks. 4c conversions baby. I'm posting this for motivation. There is to much " oh my adverts are not working this method doesn't work" The KEY is optimisation or some tweaking with a good niche.

Here is another 1 $1.78 spent and the guy made $121

This method is working, if you don't want to put in the time to optimise/tweak those Facebook adverts then this isn't for you. If you already have a following then use them. Someone on BHW used this method on his Instagram followers a couple days ago and made over $1000.

Sale is considered conversion (at least in this case), so that's what you have to target. Adding to cart is maybe worth tracking as well, but you don't need that really.

However that brings me to the fact, that I set up my pixel wrong as well. Pixels have been my arch enemy for years now. How do you guys set them up exactly please? I had some conversion overnight, but of course, my pixel was set up wrong for some reason. I was apparently tracking "page views", because I thought that it will fire everytime the thank you page is shown, well it fired in a way. I can see in tools -> pixel, that it fired twice (no idea why, considering I have just 1 order), but I can't see any conversions in my ad manager, so I have no idea which ads worked. I changed it to "fbq('track', 'Purchase', {value: 'XXXX', currency: 'USD'});" now, so I hope that fixes things.

Yes and by the way, this is a nice article on new facebook pixel and stuff, quite good article - http://www.jonloomer.com/2015/07/16/facebook-upgraded-pixel/

Sure I can help. Are those the only adverts you are running? Whats the daily ad spent per day per ad?

As for the pixel code I left some info on the front page about that :)

Hey Franklin, thanks for the quick reply! Ive ran about 50 adverts this past 7 days, but deleted most of them because of low performance. I have 9 potential adverts remaining.
Here are their stats and ad spend from yesterday (per ad): ads.jpg
What am I doing wrong? Or am I complaining for nothing? ...Not a single conversion (and I spent $70 so far). And I thought the stats looked decent...? :hmmmm2: :1zhelp:

On a good note, I understand the facebook pixel now...after re-reading the front page again slowly haha. I really appreciate all your patience with newbies like me!! :top:

So far no conversions... shopi.PNG My best ad right here which I think its not too bad , keeping at it to see if its profitable. Maybe I need to more tweaking.
