[FRESH] My First Instagram Journey

I guess youre right. Im at 670 followers and I started 10 days ago. Roughly getting 60 followers per day. Is this good? Because some people on here think that I should be atleast getting 150 a day...

How long do you reckon it takes until my accounts start to snowball?

Depends on how many you're following or what you're doing to get 60 followers. If you're following 1000 to get 60 it definitely ain't a good ratio.

I'd say that the growth of your account can't be foreseen. If you're lucky for someone to tag you (someone with more followers .e.g.) you might grow faster. I've been always seeing that it takes some more time to get the first 10k and then things start to slowly but surely grow better, but that also depends on the niche you're in.

People are more likely to follow accounts with more followers than someone just starting right away. Just think of you and get urself in the position of a follower and you might find many answers to your questions.

Man do you really think you will get far with these follow for follow methods? Its so useless...
I made 60k + profile in Instagram for 4 months without using bots, tags like "follow4follow" or "like4like". My advice is to find the very best tags for your niche and post 1 photo per hour. Use the maximum number of tags, i think its 30. Buying followers from people who are not interested into your niche is also wasting of moneys. If people are active and like the stuff you post you will get in "top posts" section on the tags and you will grow faster.

So dont waste time on following others, post your stuff with the very best tags for your niche and keep it up :) Good luck.

it ain't that easy. I doubt you grew to 60k without following others, it's almost impossible right now on Instagram with the amount of users trying to break through.

I never said its easy man. Posting 9 - 10 photos per day takes a lot of time. I follow pages and people that im interested only, this is the point of Instagram. Choosing favourite niche, sharing photos with others and waiting to see if you do it correct. If people like and comment your stuff then you are doing it right. Counting only "empty" followers just like you is so wrong.

This is only my opinion and sorry for weak english :)

wouldn't call them "empty" followers as it depends on which users you're targeting. I get your point. Buying followers may be a bit senseless, but it surely helps people following your profile.

and you're right. posting is what actually takes up a lot of my time, too.

Yes, this helps a bit at the begining but if you are willing to pay do it for shoutouts from other big pages of your niche. Moneys spent in this kind of advertising will worth then.

We cant compare sharing in Facebook with the shoutouts in Instagram because people in Insta are about 6 - 7 times more active than these in FB. Shoutouts in Instagram shouldnt be that underrated.
