The Shopify + Facebook Method FAQ - All Questions Here Please.

I am trying Bing Ads right now because with FB ads I did not get any orders and someone here said he already had 20 orders with bing. Only thing, bing only offers text ads, so you cannot show the product in the ad. Isn't this a big disadvantage?

Add social buttons
Install google analytics (recommended)
Find a way to upsell (show other products on the cart/checkout page)
Use inventory so that in the products page it says "only X availible"
Install exit popup
Catch emails somehow for your list
Test your site in different browsers (mine is not working properly in Internet Explorer. There is no point in paying for IE clicks)
Use woocommerce/magento (Once you pay for hosting and domain you have no recurring payments and no limitations like in shopify)
Make a Feedback page so people can leave their thoughts for your website
Add some fake reviews to your products.
Add a contact us page

A cool way to track the behavior of your webiste visitiors is to go to google analytics use the audience flow tool. You can see what the visitors are doing once they land on your website. This is a shortcut that I always use for my websites to understand what needs to be improved.
Dont just put stock images. Use Canva to create eyecatching designs.

So there you have it now your shop looks neat and professional and your bounce rate should be low.

how many chargebacks/paypal disputes do you get? Tempted to give it a go but I sell UK-UK and I've never known someone to wait more than 2 weeks (3 absolute tops) before opening a paypal dispute, I even have it in 'delivery information' that delivery can take up to 15 working days

For facebook ads is it best to buy pay per sale or pay per click?

And is there a premade wordpress/shopify theme that will allow facebook pay per sale you know of?
 
Hey guys I've got a hotly trending niche for this exact method. I've been previously selling the product on ebay via a supplier & have had success. I'm looking to take it to the next level go the FB/Adwords & shopify route. I'm looking for anyone who's just as enthusiastic to do something like this & also has some capital to help pay for some advertising costs. I've got the domain setup, a reliable supplier, and a lot of knowledge on this niche. Add me on skype for further conversation, this can easily turn into x,xxx/days considering how hot this product is.

Do you think the entire LED Pet Collar market is over-saturated, or just its promotion on Facebook? I still like the idea, costs, and would love to try to be successful with it elsewhere.

Adwords is always an option. But in my opinion it's always easier to start with a trending product/popular product and I've got just that
 
Whyzee, you're clearly online here on blackhatworld, why did you go offline on skype after I revealed what my method is to you? Eitherway I guarentee you, you'll need me for a good supplier. This niche is ripe with people trying to rob you of your cash. Good luck

The shipping weight works I guess but I use coupons instead and I think its better. So what I'll do is list the products at like $15 or $20 and then in the ad give a $15 or $20 coupon code, but make it only valid for 1 per customer. So not only can they only get 1 item for $0/free (the coupon is then expired and they'd have to pay $15 or $20 for the next one which is fine) and no others to combine shipping but you also have a great hook in your ad and sale - this is just a limited time coupon to get this great deal. It works well.

I look at is like this really. Amazon and ebay is good for people who are not tech savvy. Facebook and shopify are for people who have the patents to tweak and test adverts. Once a winning advert is achieved it will be $$$$. You did't really miss the niche people would still buy it off you if you did it on Amazon or Facebook. You might not sell as much on Amazon etc because of competition but Amazon and ebay are huge so there is room.

Well thats like asking "how many girls did Charlie Sheen slip into to get HIV...." But off my pervious calculations over 100 maybe. You need to think of the CTR. If you have 100 clicks and let's say a 4% buy rate thats only 4 people buying. So imagine if you only had like 20 UV? Not enough to come to a conclusion that it's a bad advert like a lot of people are doing.

I don;t know anything about Bing advert but I heard you can use images?

My girls friend is on vacation right now but when she did it she didn't get many. maybe 1 or 2 per 30 sales or something. The overall profit was still there so she just let it ride.

Just test and see what works best. Facebook has lots of variations. As for the last bit I don't under stand that sorry.

You can still try it maybe just hit countries that are now america or something :)

Yes that's right, you can use images on product ads. However, product ads can only be used with US bing accounts.
On Bing, my cpc was as low as $0.08, CR was 2.8% (which is quite good), got about 117 clicks to website, but again ZERO orders. I really cannot find the problem.

Really, it looks like the problem is that people are not willing to pay for shipping, because on Bing/FB/wherever there were no shipping fees metioned. So they came to my website with intent to buy a product for $.01, and suddenly it is $10.

The you need to look at other options. Maybe lowering the shipping price and raising the product price. The thing to remember is people having success with this are using super passionate niches. niches where people don't care is they pay for shipping. they simply want the product so bad they they will pay shipping.

What happens when a customer orders more than one item at a time? They will assume that they will only pay one shipping fee.
