Hahaha Nope, I cant literally ask her for the money. Actually According to Indian Tradition the groom has to pay all these things.

Thats in pretty much other societies as well, but lots of people decide to do things equally and not follow tradition.

Yeah, I get that. I wasn't really suggesting that you ask her to pay and look bad to the relatives etc. My point is you shouldn't blow your bank to pay for a trip SHE wants. You can have your honey moon in awesome places closer to home. If you can afford the world trip effortlessly sure, but if it means you're going to be left with pennies... no. Bad move. I'm sure there's fantastic resorts in your country where you can book a great suite and work hard for your first kid.

My philosophy is: Save 5-10k$ and visit some country and have some amazing time.

Better than just drive in some shitty bus round the world.

Maybe you like just to see other countries, but it's nice to eat great meals (expensive ones), and spend 200$ for rent-a-car, 500$ for boat ride...

So, I would say, I need at least 60 000$ to travel round a world with passion.
