Journey: Creating a Stable SEO Business with ZERO $$$$

I think he uses 10 tumblr blogs for each of his keywords so in that case his math would be right.

Promising journey ! How you index your expired web2.0 ? I have some expired Tumblr , build some weeks ago ... but without any succes, they have the old contet indexed ..but Google doesn't see my post with the blacklink, any tips to index them ?

Good luck!

Basically one thing that I wanted to know and haven't found the answer. How many times you link from one web 2.0? You just take one public proxy, register account, post one article with a link and you are done with it, or you continue using it up to certain OBL?

And I am either retarded (which is the most probable explanation) or you are missing a "0" here. If you do one post per site on a tumblr and you want to rank 50kws, then you need 50 tumblrs no?

I link to each site once. A limit of 10 OBL total.

So if one site is monkey.com and I have 10 KWs on the site all easy competition, I need 100 Web 2.0s to have 10 2.0s per site.

For 50 KWs I need 500 Web 2.0s.

Once I build this massive network I can take on more clients to fill it up without linking to my site twice which protects my network.

A lot of work to start but once I finish it makes my life easy.

Absolutely.

A few tips:

A handful of social bookmarks
A handful of social signals
Indexing Services
Ping Services

I use all four in various combinations to get them indexed. Within a month google picks them all up.

Great journey, just finished reading it. Keep it up!

Thank you Vortex.

Other Web 2.0s are ten so that is what I stick with.

Just an update because I am doing this now. You need to do the following with EACH tumblr blog:

1. Register with a unique email.
2. Use unique IP to register each Tumblr (As many unique as possible)
3. Change default themes
4. Change default user picture and description

This is the time consuming stuff for a tumblr or web 2.0 network.

I did steps one and two so far. I registered about 100 web 2.0s (Mostly tumblr). Now I am going through and making them all look 'real'.

The 15 posts on the tumblr are not by default, you get 10 posts by default. You can change it on setting when changing the theme.

Hi lightningblitz,

Thanks for this step by step tuto for people like me just getting started.
I spent quite some time building 2 ecommerce sites and had no clue where to start to improve their rankings. I'm following your steps and trying to keep up with you.
I think it'll help a lot of people ! :)

To be complete, could you tell how/when you use these services ?
A handful of social bookmarks
A handful of social signals
Indexing Services
Ping Services

Also, don't you think having 10 tumblrs to each of your landing page is quite a footprint ?

Did not know that, thank you. I will also find and change that.

I use those services to index my pages. I vary what indexing method I use. Those four work the best out of what I have found.

If I only had 10 Tumblr blogs to each post it would be a foot print.

I do other link building as well and I do vary what types of links I give to each site.

I start with a Web 2.0 network. Those are mostly tumblr but other expired web 2.0s are included. I also build some Wordpress from scratch and let them age up. I do add other links eventually and I do not do the same thing to every site.

Good stuff lightningblitz, can you tell me something, if you have100 tumblr blogs linking to one site doesn't that look fishy? I mean it would be a foot print itself don't you think so?

I was planning on going the expired tumblr route, but I was thinking more like setting up 10 web 2.0's and then pointing 5 - 10 tumblrs to each of the posts where my link is on. Do you think this is a viable strategy or am I just losing out on a lot of link power? I really want to go for the long term.

Thanks

DJ

It all depends how your backlink profile looks. I am building a network to use on many sites.

You can use the Tumblr as tier two for other tier one properties. That is in fact a great strategy.

I plan to use these for:

Parasites
Authority Sites
ect.

I am not going to fire the tumblr links at a new domain with no other link building. Plus the niches I use make sense to have a lot of tumblr links (Health, fashion, ect).

Generally speaking I would want a handful (3 - 5) tumblr links pointing to each profile I want to rank and more other expired web 2.0s.

I hav noticed that it allows me to make multiple blogs per account. Should I avoid doing that?

I would.

Some people put ten or so in their accounts. I see this as a footprint. I am not super anal, I mix it up. But I do try to only have one.

EDIT:

Time to start ranking up.

I have started phase one of making money with an SEO business. Point these Web 2.0 links at an offer I have to make quick money. My offer is a dating ebook I have. I never ranked it because I was making money off of other offers.

So what I am doing to rank this Parasite:

1. A couple dozen Tumblr, mostly no anchor text with an image.
2. A handful of Over - Blog links with anchor text.
3. A few aged Weebly which are indexed by SE's.
4. Special sauce of a few other Web 2.0s such as Webnode.

Once this offer gets traction I will start ranking the KWs in the dating niche I am targeting.

Each sale or conversion makes me about $10 and is the beginning of a sales funnel. You could easily rank and sell a clickbank product for this. I am using my offer because I make more money.

I do suggest a Parasite because they do rank quicker than any other offer.

As other people asked - what parasite do you use for this and how "hard" is the keyword you are trying to rank for - how many exact searches/month?

thx

So this thread has got me started on my own Expired Web 2.0 Network. I started today and I already have 16 Expired Web 2.0s.

My network average so far is PA:31.83 and MozRank:3.72
In my network I have 3xPR1, 2xPR2 and 1xPR3.

I have found that I would rather register them all on one account for speed. Then I make new email accounts. From there, I delete the blogs individually and add them to the different accounts.
