Journey: Creating a Stable SEO Business with ZERO $$$$

Rejuvenating thread. Somebodies working towards an upgrade :)

Subbed and looking forward to learning from you. I've failed horribly at seo before. May have to try again

thank you for following.

i started giving back before the jr exec push. If anything good comes my way I would be honored but I learned SEO from this site and the people who learn from this will one day innovate and help me again. I am just returning the help I already received from BHW.

Just to make sure I understand, you're going to point each individual tumblr to one post you want to rank (so 30 tumblrs = 30 different posts, one post each)?Or are you going to point multiple tumblr posts at various posts per tumblr? (so maybe 30 tumblrs = 300 different posts, 10 posts each).

i do one post per site on a tumblr. I want this site to rank 50 kws so I need about 500 tumblr blogs. Once I finish I have 500 blogs to help rank clients.

So you will use paid proxies? You should add this to your total costs, not just Scrapebox :)

i think I posted this earlier. I Use public proxies for scrape box and steal "private" proxies from BHW.

hopefully you learn a lot.

I was PMed a question about 'stealing' proxies but I decided to answer in public.

Some people post free proxies in the proxy section. Some sellers will give 'sample' of proxies wrapped in code. I wish I could remember their names but I know one offers USA proxies and every few days gives an example of a few dozen.

When I started I used those. I used them in Scrapebox, I used them in GSA, and I used them when building accounts. Totally free. Since then I paid that person back by buying their service I used most without using them.

Just check the proxy section and you can find free proxies.

Let me ask you a question, why are you using ScrapeBox instead of GSA on this journey? I saw you using GSA on your SEO tutorial. Can you explain the difference between this 2 tools? i currently have the money to buy one of them, just don't know which one.

Thanks in advance!

Scrapebox is the first thing you need to scrape the new, find foot prints, spam tier two or three to index hand made links, and find expired properties.

The order of mainstream SEO tools you 'need' are:

1. Scrapebox
2. GSA
3. Content Spinner
.
.
.
10. Everything else

I will be earning enough with this journey to 'buy' GSA. I will show you how to do it. For now, GSA and build expired Web 2.0s and start ranking easy KWs is the quickest way to make money.

I have some more Web 2.0s up.

The easiest are Tumblr. Asap suggested I use Yahoo accounts. The only problem when going with 'budget' is they require phone verification.

So for this journey I will be using other email accounts.

But for the sake of building my own networks in the future, I will be buying Yahoo emails which are phone verified.

Posting from your email account is a cool feature once you have a network up and are working with clients.

You should also get the posting email of the tumblr accounts.

That way you can post via email.

Im posting to over 30 tumblrs using one email address and none have been banned over the last 30 days.

It a lot better than logging into them all.

Exactly what I'm doing and if you already have an iPhone you can create a 'group' and send all of the emails in one fell swoop. Take interesting photo with iPhone, email to group, viola' fresh, original content :-)

Peace,
Z

Small update. I believe I have 100 Web 2.0s set up and I am now looking for clients or a way to monitize to start buying domains.

Are these tumblr only? How many of them per one proxy? Btw will you have time for this journey considering you started another big one? Mate you are probably really "Working your a** off"! :-)

For your Web 2.0s, do you care about the domain name at all? Or do you only care about getting any expired domain names with good backlinks?

I rotate off of proxies when I build these. I will build one per proxy a day and keep rotating. I do not build as many as I have for proxies so I tend to do fine.

These are not all Tumblr. But Tumblr as the easiest to set up. I would suggest someone builds 100 Tumblr first and use those to start ranking easy KWs before investing more time into scraping content.

I will make time.

I dedicate three hours after my 9 - 5 daily to my 'projects' in SEO I am doing such as client sites, adsense sites, ect.

I then dedicate two hours a night to BHW, business dealings on here, and threads like this.

Even if I can only get two web 2.0s up a day that is enough to keep things going.

I tend to catch up on weekends though.

What can I say, I have a great work ethic when it comes to actually getting things done.

good luck on your journey!

Thank you.

Awesome, got 23 here. Avg. PA of 36 :)

77 to go... :(

Those are great stats.

This is not a race. Keep at it and start linking to some website you have. This week I will make a longer post how I plan to monitize these off the bat.

For your Web 2.0s, do you care about the domain name at all? Or do you only care about getting any expired domain names with good backlinks?

Best metrics and links are all I care about. I really do not pay attention to niche or name.

Do you look at the TF of your expired tumblrs?

Being completely honest, no. I check PA and links. I may start using TF instead of hand checking the links though. TF is a good indication if the links to the tumblr are all from re blogs or if they are real links.

That's crazy you work a 9 - 5 on top of IM. Do you ever plan on taking on IM full time?

I plan on making the switch eventually. I am playing it smart with a back up plan. Plus I have a great retirement and benefits. At this point in my life (I am young) I can afford to not go out and work all the time so later in life I can enjoy.

Basically one thing that I wanted to know and haven't found the answer. How many times you link from one web 2.0? You just take one public proxy, register account, post one article with a link and you are done with it, or you continue using it up to certain OBL?

i do one post per site on a tumblr. I want this site to rank 50 kws so I need about 500 tumblr blogs. Once I finish I have 500 blogs to help rank clients.

And I am either retarded (which is the most probable explanation) or you are missing a "0" here. If you do one post per site on a tumblr and you want to rank 50kws, then you need 50 tumblrs no?
