Before you say copyscape or plagiarism checker let me first say I'm not looking to just check how many times an article has been published around the internet.

What I need to know is: if the content contained on a given URL is original in the eyes of google. The only test which I know it can prove that is copy/pasting a random sentence in quotes on google and check if the same website ranks first. But the issue is that I need to do this in bulk for a large list of URLs.

So is there something that can do this? I've thought of using scrapebox rank tracker, but I'm not sure if it can do exactly what I want. So here is an idea for you scarpebox team. :)

I have two questions.

What?

and Why?

Im not aware of any software that can do this since its not really something in high demand.

You can post on freelancer sites to write you a custom bot for you. It is not hard to do. The bot will search for your term in quotes and then compare it with the url you want to check and also get the "number of results" on the search page. If the number is higher than 2 you can say the article have been used more than once.

I have a project where I need to check multiple links in bulk on regular basis if the content they have is original. I can't think of any other way to do this. Copyscape(or similar services) will only list all the sites that have similar content, but what it doesn't tell is which one was first to publish it.

Thanks, you're right. This is probably the best course. I will head at upwork and see what can our indian programmers do. :)
