I agree. But at the same time, I'd think this would bring an increase in spammy activity, so they might clamp down in some other way on spam activity. Possibly be stricter about daily following/unfollowing, DMs, spam links, or whatever.This was probably done to ramp up user activity and attract new users towards the platform.
