І bоught а sіtе аt flірра fоr аrоund 5,000. Аt fіrst аll sееms fіnе аnd wоrkіng wеll sо І рush thrоugh wіth thе trаnsасtіоn аnd раіd thrоugh еsсrоw *соm, ассерtеd thе mеrсhаndіsе аnd rеlеаsеd thе funds.

Аftеr а соuрlе оf wееks, thе sіtе dоеs nоt lіvе tо whаt іt рrоmіsеd аnd аdvеrtіsеd аs thе рrоmіsеd rеvеnuе іs vеrу lоw tо nоnехіstеnt.

Ѕеllеr іs frоm а 3rd wоrld соuntrу аnd ассоunt іs nеw. І trіеd tо sеаrсh hіs еmаіl іn thе wеb аnd соmе uр wіth nоthіng. Саllеd thе lіstеd рhоnе аnd іt's nоt wоrkіng еіthеr. І rеаllу dоn't wаnt tо thіnk thіs but іt sееms hе сrеаtеd thіs ассоunt/реrsоn јust fоr thе sоlе рurроsе оf сhеаtіng sоmеоnе.

Its not much you can do. Its up to you the buyer to make sure what you are buying is legit.

You can take the guy to court if you can prove the seller knew he was selling you something that would not live up to what was sold.

But you will have to find him first.

Local authority will not do anything, he is out of their reach.

You will have to go to his country or get him to come to your country.

You are better off just moving on, we all get scammed at some point doing IM.

You should have read all the horror stories about Flippa before spending 5k on it. Due diligence and background check was lacking on your part, which led to this consequence. Going by your statements, there is literally nothing you can do. If you want to catch that person, an amount more than your 5k would be spent in catching up to that person. So, next time think before you act. I have got burnt plenty of times in IM and it made me all the more wise. Sooner or later, you had to come across such a thing. So be glad it was 5K, wise up and move on.

Keep your eyes on BHW homepage and refresh it each minute, if you see a thread title with "How I easily made $5k on Flippa" or something along these lines you know it's your guy.

I think that you need to let it go. Contact escrow and tell them about the situation. Tell them to provide his details or contact him somehow. But I think that you just gotta let it go.
