Hello guys,
So I'm making around 2.5k per month witch is amazing for me, but problem is I have big refund rate ( around 18% ). I mean is this normal, I'm not sure is this problem with me or product. I would make almost 3k if I didn't get that refund so high. Any thoughts about this?

Look at the you are selling and ask yourself if you would want a refund. I quit bothering with click bank after I sold four things and three we're refunded.
Well, I'm not sure. I didn' t read product, but I guess it's not that bad. Maybe you are right, I have no idea.

Buy the product and check for yourself. Often there are multiple products in that niche that you can split test between.

Did you try to sell the how to become a billionaire over night written by ceosam?

You know what matters, the net profit! if you have it you are doing great, don't cry for 15% you lost be happy for the 85% you banked.

Its not really much you can do about the refund rate.

As long as you are happy with your income its ok

What niche are you in? Are you selling on Clickbank or is it a real product were people ship the product back to you? This rate is high but for the make money niche for example a high return rate is usual. Did you try to find out why your customers want to get a refund? Get some feedback from disappointed customers.

As a vendor of software that used multiple different payment processors I was very unimpressed with the refund rate on clickbank. The refund rate I had on clickbank was much higher than any other processor that I just stopped selling through them at all.

I would say the refund rates were about 4x higher with CB than any other payment processor I used.

So you want to say clickbank cheat? Not sure billion company would cheat but anything is possible.

No I think it was Wizards Guide To Pulling Women.

Its petty normal really, I only promote products that look legit and have very good landing pages that don't look like they were designed by a caveman, but still, my refund rate is over 15% most of the time.

You see, most of the time, the problem is not the product being shit, but the customer being a bitch. Because when you tell them multiple times that you have a 60 days refund policy, they'd buy the product, keep it and get their money back even if the product is a pretty good one.

So yeah, you'll get at least a few refunds every week/month depending on how much sales you referred as long as the 60 days refund policy thing is there.

cheapskates on CB are getting too much these days... if you notice on your email last week... they did messed up with major payment processors' policies and ended up apologised to vendors and affiliates

Why not ask your customers - make sure you give prompt refund which keeps them happy and at the same time ask them for some feedback.

My guess is maybe that if you have high refund rate then the product description doesnt quite meet up to the actual product itself?

lol wth, where did I mention anything about CB cheating anything? If they said a customer refunded and I removed access on the account CB would not get away with it all for more than about 20minutes and they would be in deep shit. I do not think CB are cheating in that way at all, that would be stupid as hell.

What I am saying is that CB's policies allow the customers to abuse the refund policy more than almost any other processor. If it was a case of the product being crappy the refund rate would have been similar to other processors, instead it was many times higher than the next highest one.

I don't think it's an issue with clickbank. We manage many products on CB and our refund rates always stay below 2% even if the money back guarantee is stated clearly on the website.

If you are getting such a high refund rate, the problem lies with the product - basically it is not delivering what it is promising. Of course, it may also have to do with how you promote it - eg if on your site/ads/etc you make claims above the beyond what the vendor claims...

18% is not bad at all on clickbank. Many people would say if you only promote health nice products with low refunds and blablabla you should see something below 5%. But the truth is average refund rate has increase a lot in CB , mostly because buyers know already the refund policy to buy shit for free.

Can you please tell me which are better payment processors in your opinion?
I am looking for others in order to diversify my income and your opinion would help.
