Am am looking for a new hosting and so far I am considering the ones added to the poll.

Please vote whichever you think is better or recommend one that has not been added.

Thank you.

Update: Looking for some sort of regular hosting, no VPS or dedicated hosting is needed.

There is no poll as far as I can see. I am looking at the moment for cloud VPS full ssd with ddos protection I suggest you look for something like that.

I've not tried the above poll ones, but I'd recommend Siteground that I personally use.

Well, you should specify what kind of hosting you are looking for. Since those companies are offering all kinds of hosting services, it's really difficult to help you.

Here's my little list:

Dev stuff:
Vultr.com
DigitalOcean.com

Dedicated server:
PhoenixNAP.com

VPS:
Linode.com
or PhoenixNAP dedi made into VPS

Well, you should specify what kind of hosting you are looking for.

Hosting that doesn't go down every two or three days, and hosting that doesn't take 30 seconds to load a freakin` plain html web page, like the one I am using now for some of my sites.

Well it still doesn't help much. Are you looking for some kind of shared hosting solution, a VPS or maybe a dedicated server? I don't know much about shared hosting because I haven't used one for a long long time.. PhoenixNAP is the best hosting company out there for dedicated servers. Their support is amazing + servers are nice and cheap.

All those hosting providers don't offer any kind of regular webmaster support. They only offer help when network is down or server is down or something network or server related so be careful. If you don't know much about managing servers, pick something else.

Hostwinds , got almost all my money sites hosted with them

beside hostwinds I use digitalocean , mostly for sites that are about to handle a large number of visitors in a short timeframe

I am looking for regular hosting (can be shared hosting too), no VPS or dedicated hosting is needed.

VPS is becoming the regular hosting. It can save you a lot of nuisance.

we can provide you offshore cloud hosting with DDOS protection. search for us in Google by the name of BlueAngelHost

What are you going to host? Simple websites or something heavier? I'd name kvchosting.com for any aim, my uptime with them is 99.94% and support is prompt.

I don't think that digitalocean is a "hosting" provider. They are VPS provider.

You can find many good shared hosting provider in offer section.

Voted hostwinds.

Never let me down yet and customer service is high quality

I would not touch this company... tested them on some generic sites and was disappointed.

Powerup is pretty fast, offers good support and for around 20.00 or so you can get a reseller so that each domain has it's own cpanel.

Davids355 offers a real good solution too as that is a decent outfit also.

I can vouch for hostwinds as well - I use them for few sites and they are very good.
Also host-stage is another very good provider.

Have a look at hosting services from a2hosting.com and ir-hosting.com.
They have plans which are suitable for the greater part of the web masters containing a great amount of on-demanded resources.

Can vouch for Servikus, been using them since the past few months, the support is lightning fast, just submit a ticket and within literally 1-5 minutes, you'll get a reply, they're also very friendly, and the quality of their hosting is very good too, only got good things to say about them.
