Don't get me wrong OP I know this is the lounge but still WTF!?

This is a BHW an IM forum goddammit, IDK why all the weird people are coming here. Maybe it is ranking for weird KW's becouse of the pewep threads, idk.

Haha, all of this can probably be attributed directly to Pewep anyway - he already saw into the future that Wowhaxor was going to try and so he sent instructions to his past self to try and kill off wowhaxor :-) ....

Dude, watch your back

There are cases of people being dead for several hours and then being revived. From what I've heard some people come back normal, most don't.

A friend of a cousin dies once when they were out. They always got really drunk and one time when they were smashed he climbed down a bridge over a train track and hit the wire. They called the ambulance and whatever and sure enough he was dead, but somehow he got bought back.

My friends brother "died" for 10 minutes before, and he said the exact same thing - it was like he went to sleep and just woke up a little later.

What if you were dreaming, though?

Would you dream for the rest of eternity, thus creating "heaven"?

Nothing. Nothing happens one second you're there and the next you're opening your eyes laying on the ground. You don't even remember the last breath or few seconds before it happened at least I don't. I'm inclined to believe those who see a white/bright light are overly religious and want a happy thought to comfort them in a stressful situation but who knows maybe you don't get to see that shit unless you believe in it.

The "white light" or things people see in those "near death" experiences has a lot to do with the brain releasing huge amounts of "DMT" at the one time, the same thing happens at birth apparently. Surprised you didn't get those effects and unfortunate as DMT is a hell of a thing :)

You will be fine if you think you are fine!
Write this on your body 20 times daily "I am fine !"

Hope that helps!

Interesting. Never heard this before and don't know about dmt but I know like, as a decades long junkie, my dopamine levels would be pretty depleted wonder if this is the cause?

Either way it's looking like 20% chance I'm lucky and 80% chance I'm immortal and someone will try to chop my head off with a sword as there can be only one.

I don't know about the immortal part looks like torture to me.

OP, have you considered you're part cat and have 9 lifes?

I don't know what your mother did, but ask her.

4 times and still alive? I would play the lottery.

You are either the luckiest man in the world, or the unluckiest! Either way, I'm glad you're still with us :)

Not sure dopamine levels would effect dmt. This is a whole other level, I wouldn't class it as I do other "drugs". If you ever do get the opportunity embrace it :)

Ya, I've done DMT before ;)

There is a thought experiment developed by a theorist from princeton called "Quantum suicide and immortality".Here's the link:
http://science.howstuffworks.com/innovation/science-questions/quantum-suicide.htm

It's kinda complicated involving the probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics and parallel universe theory. In quantum mechanics, there is a phenomenon called quantum superposition, where a particle can be in two places at the same time, having two states at the same time.Meaning two realities can exist.

So, in regards to your case, you said there are moments in your life where you think you should have died, but instead you are still living. That's how quantum immortality works (at least in theory), in the thought experiment, the person will pull the trigger but it only clicks.

from the article:
"He pulls the trigger again. Click. And again: click. The man will continue to pull the trigger again and again with the same result: The gun won't fire. Although it's functioning properly and loaded with bullets, no matter how many times he pulls the trigger, the gun will never fire. He'll continue this process for eternity, becoming immortal."

It is only a theory though.Don't you dare go try the experiment yourself!
