I'm not trolling, it's a true story. I don't really think I'm immortal either though. Just trying to get my shit together haven't gotten high in a week now and been feeling really reflective lately. I'm getting old and something got to give...

Anyways thanks guys I'm done here. Have gotten private contact from others that are in the same situation/also possibly immortal as well as an explanation from one guy why some of us have this and his story is very alike to mine. So thanks, BHW always provides the knowledge I need.

So lately I've been thinking that I might be immortal. I've died 4 times in the last couple years and I seem to just like come back in less than 10 minutes (although one time was an overdose and the medics hit me with narcan so that time doesn't count obviously since there's a medical explanation). Like no breathing or heart rate or anything then I just kind of "wake up", it really freaks people out its varied from trauma being inflicted and accidents to drug overdose.

If it's not a joke, there is a easy solution: find a bridge, and jump. If you are immortal, you won't die. If you aren't, ... well you will have learnt to fly.

Life is a gamble, so far the odds were okay for you. I once met a guy who had been shot 16 times and yet was still alive and more or less unharmed (bodily, mentally he was slightly shaky). He'd come back as the last survivor of his unit TWICE, so go figure. Nice guy though.

Anyway, as long as you don't actively seek death - you'll do fine.

Now I'm not saying I'm invincible I'm sure if I got my head cut off I'd be done.

Anyways I tried googling it but either nobody knows about this or they keep it to themselves cause all I could find was some idiots on Reddit arguing over whether it would be cool or suck to be immortal. Does anyone know of anyone that just like doesn't die when they should? I need more info cause I don't want to get carried away if I really like somehow just have half cat genes so I only have 4.5 lives (9/2=4.5) you know?

You can't be immortal and die 4 times, this is not how it works.
 
I don't think it's immortality but more so it just not being your time to leave planet earth. I should have 100% died one night in a river but I didn't and for a minute I wondered if I was actually dead.

No breathing and no pulse is not death, it takes some time before death actually comes. Death is when they can't revive you at all using any of the modern but sometimes not allowed to use technologies.

I'm not sure why everyone accepts death so freely. Roots strain beneath the ground to break surface, humans rage against the dying of the light through medicine, cancer cells multiply fiercely in an effort to remain alive

Perhaps then, death is not natural. Current research points to the fact that death may be similar to the following scenario:

Imagine we all had cancer. Every single species has had cancer since the beginning of time. Because cancer is our normal state we don't even know that cancer can be treated, and thus we are ok being sick. Google Calico and Sens Research Foundation have both stated that aging is not irreversible and that if proper funding was granted towards stopping/ reversing aging we would be able to cure it.

We push insane amounts of money towards diseases caused by aging (Alzheimer's etc.) but if we focused on the root cause of those diseases (the deterioration of the body, otherwise known as aging) we'd be able to completely reverse them. I for one am not excited to die, nor do I plan to

Animals die. Plants die. Humans die. It's natural.

Why do people want to be immortal? To have more time? Ha ha. They should use their time now, instead of thinking about their time in the future.

And immortality would be boring.
 
Google calico won't be able to do much research, they have to be limited to doing certain ethical and "moral" stuff. If they got caught in a big animal testing scandal to test out theories they would be finished since the entire company would be boycotted.

Overdoses are scary. I had a friend take xanax then fent at a party full of drunks and went into a full blown state of anesthesia. Just stooped to the ground and went completely limp. First 2 mins everyone laughs. Then OMG is he breathing? OMG I can't feel his pulse. Wait a minute, his lungs are moving he's fine lol.

That fent shit is scary though. No idea how people take drugs 50 times stronger then heroin.

If you look at their website they look more like a scam than a legit organisation. Which is sad, the majority in immorality research seem to be either crazy promoting false hope or con artists seeking to get money from desperate persons. The few that actually are serious are throttled by various laws all over the world that prevents real research from going on or like I said in previous post a PR issue that could arise. It has to be funded by an organisation or person that makes money with money and not services or products and is willing to do things that are now considered unethical by western world standards.
