Wordpress Spam keeps happening

I keep getting comment notifications on wordpress site even though i have comments turned off, any ideas or advice?

Try to install plugin "Disable Comments", it allows to disable comments on each post/article.

i havent got any spam comments yet on my site.

I have it activated but no api now..
It says you can;t install it if it's for commercial use.. it is just a website with about page, location and contact page, but for a small company, would that be for commercial use if not selling anything online..
Otherwise I dont think I can use it.

Just go to your editor and delete the php in your comment file.

Sorry, can't help you there aside from going to comments and deleting them 25 at a time.

Perhaps someone with some tech knowledge will come along and offer you a quick way to help you out there.

Yes it. won't allow me to do that, i click the top box but there are no boxes beside the comments and will not delete.

Ok, then use "delete all comments" plugin to delete all the comments
