What motivates you in IM?

To be honest, that might sound a little strange, but the project I'm currently working on gives my life purpose.

I'm running a med site and we have very valuable (science based, unbiased) info. Knowing that my content can help other people makes me proud. I have that strange way of feeling less than worthless if I'm not doing something that actually has a positive impact on other people. So, this gives me strength and keeps me pushing forward. It keeps me motivated to work and learn. Also, the people I work with are all incredibly awesome, making my extreme introversion not as bad as it used to be.

Freedom obviously.. money = freedom. The freedom of chasing the sun.. not having to freeze my balls off in Ireland and working 9-5 for "a boss" is all the motivation I need.

I have been motivated by one persons success, but only for the fact that I know for a fact he is a baller. You see some people here you may think they are successful, but they may actually not be. They might just talk the talk and do a good job of it.

More money and freedom motivates me. I want to be able to do whatever I want whenever I want. Money allows you to do that.
