IG new UNFOLLOWING limits / Temp blocks

Only an IG employee would know. But I'm pretty sure it is permanent

Just so y'all know, I do not use any bots, macros, or software for my account. It's done manually, the old fashioned way, because it gets me the best clients for my business. With that said, I face the same exact F*****g ban which now hurts my business. I have one of the highest rates of interaction, which is perfect for how I market myself, and I must compete with others who have 20k-40k followers who don't interact at all.

It's a steeper hill for me at ~300 unfollows per hour. I've also been hit with similar follows per hour temp blocks. Before the latest IG update, I used to be able to tap a link and tell them that they had made a mistake and that I was a human being. The link is now gone, and my account is limited at this snails pace. It sucks, and I'm going to have to strategize on what to do next.

Looks like reaching out to companies and doing giveaways will be the best usage of my money at this point.

Yes my account was perm banned and got deleted.. Just for unfollowing ..

It was a babe acc. But only in bikini's. No nude !
And no link in bio either

Was unfollowing 300 - 400 delay 60 - 80 .. Got banned after about 300 unfollows

Have you received any email from Instagram with the reason why your account have been deleted.
Because last time my accounts was deleted (around 2 months ago) they notified me via email the reason. I asked because perm ban for just unfollowing seems strange... and scary.
Today succesfully unfollowed 395 with one account and stopped. No ban. Now running two more accounts...
Want try manual unfollowing these days.

I have the same problem bro.
I used to unfollow about 6500 ppl in one day manually. I could reach 5k follower in one week. But now... unfollowing is limited so hard. I hope IG remove this limitation soon or my business will be gone

You need to stop whining about IG removing this limitation, THEY WON'T. We have to deal, adapt or leave.

Hey guys,

So IG has some new unfollow limitations - They are temp blocking people going to fast, but this is new as of this morning. I'm going to do some testing today to find out what exactly they are, and if anyone else has some insights then post em here so we can figure it out :)

Thanks!

just stop to try figure it out... its useless... un follow is temporary locked until further released or information

But I guess they will remove this limitation, as we remember that there was a same limitation for following ppl before, and they removed that.
If you don't agree, we will see.

What was the following limitation? I don't remember it. Unless it's been 2-3 years ago, if so, then you can really give up, as they are ran by facebook now, in case you don't know what this means, this means: IT WILL BE HARD TO BE BANK.

Yes it was about 2 years ago.
Why you all are keep saying that this limitation is because of facebook?! Facebook bought IG more than 3 years ago! If they wanted to put some limitation they would do it earlier! not now!!
This unfollowing limitation will be removed or they will hurt themselve by that

Not really. Why would they? 1) More quality 2) New focus on paid ads 3) They've just got more total accounts than Twitter, which means they even won the "who's got the biggest dick" contest. So why remove the new limit which ultimately only affects us aka spammers

They want the money back they used for something idk what that is why they make the ads so bad, watch i bet when they get it back they will make an update its all about the money they dont care about their users that is why they dont have an email system like twitter or even close to

I've also been hit with this. I found that 40 followers every 10 mins is working as of now, using a 1 year old account, sitting with 400-500 followers. Please note that I'm manually unfollowing.

Hi,
1. Is someone using this website? fast-unfollow-com someone can figure out the time delay between unfollows on this website
2. Change your proxy location where instagram dont support his ads.

Because they're hurting more than spammers and they know this.. It's not just people who spam who follow and unfollow absurd amounts. It's people who are trying to grow a name and a brand for themselves and there are several 1000's of people who do this. If you look at it, it's people like that who make instagram worth going back to because there's always fresh new content. If you hurt the people who use such tactics to grow, then they might as well move onto other platforms or just deal with it, which might be harder. If being hit with that limit hurts everyone who uses instagram for these sorts of reasons, then what's the point right? I'm pretty sure Instagram's growth will reach a cap eventually and begin to decline as twitter's did. This isn't an effective way to deal with spammers as it hurts everybody. Hopefully they understand and remedy this, however I wouldn't mind changing shifts. It is what it is, but it can be better.

Also experiencing this, came here to start a thread but I guess I don't need to. I was unfollowing 1500-2000 per day with no problem, it's definitely a new limitation. I'm not sure if it's from unfollowing too fast, my delay was 10-15 seconds. Currently looks like the max unfollows per day is in the 400 range, but it does seem like perhaps the delay is the factor.

Delay is not the factor. If you delay to 2 minutes in between unfollowings, you'll still hit a wall in the 400-ish range.

People who follow and unfollow in absurd amounts are considered spammers as well. IG/Facebook doesn't give 2 F*s about it! They want us to pay for their ads, that's it. Nothing else. Instagram may, or may not, hit the same wall Twitter did. Just see Facebook, it is NEARLY impossible to grow without paying for ads, and the platform is still going strong.

The unfortunate thing is, there is NOTHING in their User Agreement or Community Guidelines that say that I cannot manually do these things. They call out the use of code, APIs, bots, macros etc. There is no such agreement for manually using the app to market myself toward an audience who is looking for the content I provide. Unless they can provide me with statistics to show their ads as near effective, they have sealed the fate of using Instagram for me.

I just had to lower all my infollowing limits as I got the temp ban too after not having an issue with this for past few months.
Weeeeee. Just lowered limits and everything is good again. My accounts are aged 2+ years too!!!
